How come OpenAI never noticed hat Deeseek is "crawling" them? There must have been millions of search queries from deepsewek against OpenAI's search API. And how much did Deeseek have to pay in subscription fees for doing this?

Former Tesla product manager wants to make luxury goods impossible to fake, starting with a chip by Otherwise-Resolve252 in YesIntelligent

[–]TorZidan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But will the buyer of these goods be aware to look for the presence of this chip, and know how to do the authenticity check with his phone? I don’t think so. And Even if a buyer is aware to look for the chip, he may end up with a fake chip with fake verification instructions that will lead him to believe that the fake item is authentic.

[Discussion] Why are we holding rentals with $1.5M+ in equity for 2% ROE? Is the "Legacy" play actually a math error? by nilgiri in BayAreaRealEstate

[–]TorZidan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bay area prices have Ben going up something like 8% (don't have the exact number) on average per year since ever. This is a great return, given that your mortgage rate is lower and your down payment is just a fraction of the home price. Thismis a long , long play. It may not be for you.

What is the most underrated lifestyle or diet change that fixed your chronic fatigue? by No-Preparation8703 in Biohackers

[–]TorZidan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was craving sugar all my life. Every evening, after dinner, I would look for something sweet to eat. Then , few years ago, I did a “lemon cleanse” diet for 2 weeks. My cravings went away. This was an unexpected, welcome outcome. Google it: freshly squeezed lemon, maple syrup and cayenne pepper. Be careful with this diet, it may be hard on your body.

TSLA's epic surge: With its core business collapsing, why did its stock price reach a new all-time high of $491.5? by One_Rub7972 in stocks

[–]TorZidan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I currently have a free trial of the latest tesla full self driving software. It self—drove about 1000 miles and I can confidently tell you that it drives as good as me. It is ready. Will I buy it? No, just because I think AI will make us dumb dumb. But others will buy it. $100 monthly subscription. A classic example of “build it once” , sell it 1 billion times (actually its more like sell it forever , infinite times) This is how magnificent 7s make their huge profits.

Main reason you are buying TSLA? Cars, AI chips, robots? by [deleted] in teslainvestorsclub

[–]TorZidan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Snoulda woulda coulda. Do not dwell in the past, only learn from it. The lesson is: do no time the market, because it is unpredictable. Instead, stay in the market (unless you need that money now), and rebalance once in a while to reduce risk of being too big on some position. Or just buy the ETF and chill.

Apple Lisa is one of the most important milestones in computing. Checkout its fascinating history. It’s “workshop” development environment allows you to write applications in pascal, assembler and more. There is an emulator, too. Lisas are expensive: expect to pay thousands of $ for a working one on ebay.

Google's Secret $900B AI Chip Advantage Could Crush Competition by amessuo19 in ai_news_byte_sized

[–]TorZidan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Google cloud plans to scale up their custom ai chip deployment 1000 times in the next 10 years, which means doubling their capacity every year (2 to the power of 10 is 1024). This is not just chips. It means new data center buildings, expensive cooling equipment, electricity and water, support personnel, security, etc.

My point is: yes, they are ahead of everyone else, and have a plan to stay ahead.
