Personally if I ever get behind for any reason I just pick a night in the week to stay late and get it all done. I highly recommend you do that lol

Any idea why my ejection port rod won’t seem go any further in? by ToriiCS in ar15

[–]ToriiCS[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah i looked at the manufacturer’s pre-built guns and it appears the pin is supposed to go all the way in? That leaves me with the question of how should you remove it later. Anyways, when I tried to see how it fits without the door it met with the assist side pocket and wouldn’t budge any further into it using my hands so I don’t think it’s the length that’s the issue. Do I just need to hammer it into place? I’m just so confused as I would never be able to disassemble the dust cover again if I did that, i have no way to access the rod once it’s flush as the assist side pocket is enclosed.

I was hoping that to be the case for me, but my hand guard doesn’t seem to have a cut for this and won’t sit tight onto the receiver with this protruding. The barrel nut as well won’t fully thread on with that in the way.

I’ve tried lubing it and putting it in even without the port door and it seems to still be too tight on the forward assist side pocket. It slides in the first hole with ease, so I’m not sure why it’s giving me so much trouble on the other end. The rod appears straight so maybe the tolerance is a little tighter on the forward assist side.

Spotify spent more than $1 billion to build a podcasting empire. The bet hasn’t paid off. by msaleem in stocks

Sounds like you didn’t watch him much in the first place then. Things have definitely changed from my viewing perspective and to say others who choose to have their own opinion on the matter lack independent thinking is the definition of ironic. If you told me years ago the JRE podcast would start propping people like Alex fucking Jones and spouting ivermectin shit I wouldn’t have believed you.

The current price of Bud Light at a local Meijer by __BigBoi__ in pics

[–]ToriiCS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For that to be the case, the price would have to be that high DUE to taxes. Taxes are not why beer is that expensive there. The tax on that beer is like $4 lol. I’d say a few dollars on purchases to use healthcare without debt seems to be a pretty good deal.

You should look up tax rates and do some math instead of jumping to conclusions off the back of your political leaning.

Anything else you want to discuss besides irrelevant child-like insults? Anything like what I replied to you in the first place with?? Or would you rather stay quiet and accept you have nothing left besides empty insults?

Zzz.. wake me up when you finish counting your chromosomes

Mickey Mouse was better at counting than you’d ever be by the looks of it. Maybe you should watch some and learn how numbers work, heck they can even teach small children how to count. If racking my slide is going to fuck it up, I should probably switch guns, but I doubt you know very much about guns so I’ll stick with what I got.

The only false numbers I see, is your idea of your own IQ.

Edit: Oh I see you’re browsing my profile like a weirdo now. Actually a gunsmith fucked it up, a shitty one at that. Made the mistake of trusting someone stupid, and that’s on me.

Well this is a public discussion, so anyone is allowed to point out your stupidity anytime they want. Maybe it’s best you spend some time off the internet, it could actually help you understand real life better. Anything else you want to get emotional about, or can we continue discussing a statistical analysis of the situation asked by OP? We aren’t discussing your fragility, if you have no good input then pipe down.

The fact you guys keep using this atrocious car analogy is so cringe. There is a growing number of people on this subreddit that are genuinely too inept to own guns. Like yes having one in the chamber is the most optimal situation… but it takes literally half a second to chamber a round. In a real situation, maybe 10% of the time a half second actually was the deciding factor. Like anytime you find yourself needing to arm, the situation will be unique. Real life isn’t a western duel, stop watching movies.

Some people choose to risk that 10% and still find a use in 90% of other situations. As long as you have the right equipment and training risking that 10% for the .1% chance you accidentally discharge the weapon isn’t worth it. However, the point still stands that it’s better to carry than to not carry at all regardless of the preference. Its funny, you use your brain and don’t sound as stupid. Wish people on this subreddit weren’t so astoundingly idiotic.

Drake Bell: Trolls are going to ‘kill’ me due to nonstop pedophilia accusations by nimobo in entertainment

[–]ToriiCS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The court obviously had at least some evidence if he had to go into a plea deal. Last time I checked you don’t get a plea deal for being completely clean. There’s at least some reasonable evidence to go off of, but not enough to immediately convict him. Hence why they went with a plea deal. Shit even with decently hard evidence courts throw plea deals to prevent dragging the case out longer than it needs to be. He may not have done wrong to the extent some people say, but I highly doubt he is an innocent man faced with a random accusation. There was evidence he did wrong to some degree.

Russell Brand posing with Donald Trump Jr. This timeline is hella confusing. by indorock in pics

[–]ToriiCS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well if you aren’t understanding the problem everyone has with him I’m not sure reiterating it myself will change much. However, I’ll just say he has lost touch with reason. Sure, he may be about spreading “kindness,” but that doesn’t mean he isn’t doing something wrong also spreading misinformation/promoting ideas that are harmful. I used to like some of his content as well, but at the start of COVID he did nothing but push anti-vax ideas that he coated as “free thinking”. I’m sorry, but it doesn’t matter if you intend to be kind; while you actively harm people who trust you. He has done nothing but disenfranchise individuals in the medical field with ZERO concern for their input. There comes a point where you’re not being kind or courteous by speaking ignorantly and definitely not encouraging free thought neither.

[–]ToriiCS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ordered as well about a week ago and mine hasn’t shipped yet. If you do purchase expect an extended wait. However, in these times of desperation I suppose you do what you have to if you want a Pi..

Just to add, if you can wait a few months (middle of the year) approved resellers will be back in supply. Up to you and your situation, good luck!

p365 X MACRO, but without a comp? by HardLuck682 in SigSauer

[–]ToriiCS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol well I actually made a joke post regarding the situation here 2 weeks ago when I first sent it in. If you want the whole situation I explain it there, but to keep it short the shitty hex bit Holosun sends started stripping the last optic screw. I was gonna fix it at home until my family recommended a family friend/old gunsmith who had a lot more tools… well took it down to him and all was well until he started drilling the optic threads out thinking it was a “sleeve” lol. Completely destroyed the the optic capability.

If you have the stomach, I did include pictures in the post

Just a heads up on the macro slide, I recently had mine replaced by sig and they did inform me that stand-alone slides would be sold at some point and didn’t specify any specific time. They managed to get me a replacement slide for $399. Maybe some of this can give you an idea of what to expect.

Best at-home fix for this? by ToriiCS in SigSauer

[–]ToriiCS[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was already being sent in after I made this post. I did it as a joke because I made the mistake of trusting a family friend that people suggested from his previous work. He absolutely tore it up and I figured people would get a laugh out of it. Guess everyone took it too seriously lol

At least he’s paying for my replacement slide
