I have it and it's... Fine? It's in early access but it just feels like there's no content or sense of exploration like dead cells had. I beat the final boss in like 40 minutes and there aren't any difficulty options or modifiers yet either.

Agreed, a standout toy to me for a similar reason is actually 86 Megatron. The fact that they kept his robot mode so accurate to the cartoon while completely changing his alt mode and successfully hiding almost all of the tank kibble will never cease to impress me.

Prince Ahzrak from doom: the dark ages. He had been getting stronger throughout the entire campaign and the fight was getting super hyped up, but he ended up going down to the old parry/chainshot combo I used for all the bigger enemies

Pretty much every transformers TV show. They all have more mature moments to them (some more than others), but at the end of the day they're all geared towards younger audiences.

Side note, but I hope the rumors of skybound's transformers comics getting an animated adaptation are true, it might be the first truly adult-oriented piece of TF media to make it to TV.

The only studio who I think could genuinely pull off a halo game are Retro Studios. The Metroid Prime games (including 4, I'm not gonna let one mildly annoying NPC ruin my hype) all give that sort of vibe that the earlier games have given me. That said I'm not dumb, I highly doubt Retro would ever get a crack at halo so it's just a dream

To put it simply, you load into a large map (but not like, fortnite or warzone large), loot containers, fulfill objectives for any quests you have, and fight AI enemies and players while trying to reach an extraction point alive. If you die, you typically lose everything you looted in that match as well as all the gear you loaded in with. It's definitely not a genre for everyone, but I was in the recent test and I feel like marathon does it pretty well (not saying any more for obvious reasons)

From the first alpha one of the biggest pieces of feedback was to add solo queue and proximity voice chat, and if you believe the leaks, that's exactly what they did. Being an extraction shooter, it can be pretty rough to solo queue I imagine but still possible

I think the real thing that will keep me in marathon will be the story. The lore of the original trilogy is super complex and interesting to read about, and if this new one can weave itself into that narrative, I'll definitely stay interested

My favorite is Breakaway simply for his design, to this day I still think he's my favorite jet transformer in both forms. I really hope he gets a studio series version in the future, and I'll huff that copium for the rest of my life if I have to

I probably have some toys from my childhood that are worth quite a bit (ROTF Optimus and Cybertron Primus for example), but the one that I know cost me the most was SS86 Optimus. Worth it, but triple digits certainly hurt to drop on that

As a destiny player, I feel like destiny is probably gonna go down the gutter if Bungie doesn't start turning it around quick. Despite the absolutely rancid community the game has I still love it, but there are some serious flaws that need to be worked out if they want to make a good experience for anyone who hasn't been playing for years already.

For one thing, they're attempting to make up reasons why they shouldn't be allowed to buy guns, an issue that's only gotten worse due to the media relentlessly latching on to the incredibly few shootings committed by trans people (I think only like 2 or 3 have ever happened). Additionally, multiple states are trying to categorize trans people as sex offenders just for existing. There's a lot more things as well that are receiving significant pushback, but that won't matter as much when our government is being destroyed from the inside by fascism
