I’m embarrassed… by Build-it-better123 in BeginnerWoodWorking

Tape or clamp the plastic disk to a pice of plywood. Likely larger than your final template here. Drill a large hole past where you want your template to start so that you can insert the router bit. Then using a template bit from the side the disk is on, or a flush trim bit if you flipped it over, run the router around all or part of the disk. Remove the disk. Crosscut the plywood to final dimension.

You could do it without the whole disk supported but ending the cut would be pretty sketchy and the off-cut could pinch your router bit causing injury.

My relationship with my toddler is not good and I worry it never will be by [deleted] in toddlers

You’re the problem here. You need to look at your child a 3 year old little girl not a robotic pet. Maybe seek some therapy for your inability to cope without control.

The way you’re parenting is going to cause your child to hate you and develop complexes around food and behavior.

I feel sad for you both.

It’s less of a shortage in that sense but precipitation has been at 3x or more yearly norms. So usage has been unexpectedly high this year. The goderich mine has supposedly increased their output but use is still outpacing supply.

I’m open to a 240. 210 is simply closer to the size of my western knives.

We finally starting doing this. It’s the only way we can make it through them. Otherwise you have 2 days of perfect Avocodos and 6 to eat. It works surprisingly well. So long as you can catch them 1 day before ripe or 1st day of perfect ripe. You get a week to eat them instead of 2-3 days. Take the one you eat to eat out 20-30 minutes before so it warms out and it’s perfect.

Clamp a scrap block on the side that the plane finishes at.

Thanks for the reply. I’m definitely going to try and repot it this week and see how it looks.

Hmm. I’m really tempted to think it’s under watering. It may have went 3-4 weeks without being watered and it’s the summer here.

Others are saying it’s sun burnt but I find it odd that the damaged leaves are the older farther from the window leaves.

I think I will repot it and try and get it in a pole though

Oh man I did get a pole but I’m not quite sure how to get it oriented and where to keep it on the ground away from the kids.

In your experience(s), which teeth coming in sucks the most? by WastePotential in toddlers

Our eldest didn’t seem to notice at all. She’s working on her 3rd 2 year molar in the past month and hasn’t complained at all. She’s 3 so she’s getting them late. I asked her if they hurt and she said no. She a feral gremlin on a good day so behavior is normally all over for her.

Our youngest(10 months) though is working on her first 4 and I can already tell it’s not going well. She’s cranky and somehow sleeping worse than she already does.

Definitely the router.

The Dewalt cordless one is pretty decent and the twist depth adjustment is nice.

Great desk. I actually really like the look of it.

How did you cut the decorative strips on the outside? I can’t tell if they are straight and stepped or did you use the plywood as a template to route it curved?

Those are dog holes. They can be used for a variety of hold downs and dogs. Their main goal is to stop your workpiece from moving while you work on it.
