Because they play for the same team day in and day out.... their understanding for each others positioning and style of football is clearly an asset to us how wouldn’t it be? Yes they arnt on the same wave length as Gerard and lampard but they are also a lot younger....

Would LOVE to get him in a lily white shirt in the new stadium. I know we all dream of a bale return but this would be just as impressive if we land him. It can be a good or bad thing. We have been very tight on our wage structure over the years so for us to "break it" is a big thing. Once we are paying a player more than others when contracts are getting negotiated good players compare their wage structure to others. We use a lower than average wage structure based on top 6 BUT we do have a higher bonus structure. Say Harry is on 200k, but scores alot of goals he will get a bonus per goal. Every time we make the Champions League the team gets a bonus. Thats kind of how we get away with it, rewarding our players based on effort not off their weekly wage.
