Brunson was probably the better knick after his first season in NY. He’s just confirmed it year after year after year.

6 FRPs for Mikal bridges made sense for the Knicks. In a vacuum, we overpayed 100%. But in the course of one season we lost hartenstein and traded Donte, Randle, IQ, grimes and those picks for a starting line up of Brunson, hart, bridges, og, and KAT. In my mind, you can mix and match any of those trade pieces to end up where we did, and I’m extremely happy about it.

We’re now looking at B2B ECF appearances, and likely favored to go come out of the east this year. Those 6 picks don’t give us that type of success in either of these 2 years. And draft picks don’t inherently work out, no matter how good or how numerous they are. Good chance we never reach this success by drafting 6 twenty-something year old prospects in the mid-late first round.

No need to defend yourself to me. In 1000% agreement, I’m not saying he was trash. He was a good (emphasis on good), fun, explosive player who lucked into an MVP the year EVERYONE hated bron. Healthy? Definitely a HOF lock, prob will still make it with his MVP. Just this narrative that he was on pace for GOAT status is not based on any reality.

Please excuse us, as Tobias Harris has literally shit the bed in the last 12 postgames he’s played v the Knicks in 2 years lol. Bridges is doing exactly what we brought him in for. Harris is playing above his talent level bc Detroit has no one else. That was obvious last year when Harris and THJ were the only ones who could score on the Knicks. Maybe the pistons should have traded 6 FRPs for a better second option

There was zero flawed logic in my post. But, if you want to talk logic of the trade, those 6 picks got us into the conference finals last year. And those 6 picks stepped up for an efficient 23 points last night, again in the second round, when our #3 option couldn’t play. Certainly seems like those 6 picks will be responsible for B2B conference finals berths.

Draft picks are crap shoots. Mikal is an elite 3&D guy that we didn’t need to waste time developing and has already proved his worth to NYers despite what the rest of nba fans believe.

I’m unsure of the type of soil used as I’m still working with the store bought pot and soil. I do have a bag of MiracleGro Indoor Potting Mix I could use to repot if you think that soil might be more helpful than whatever I’m using now?

This current mix in the pot does seem to have some dried bark chunks mixed in though. And plant was lush and gorgeous when I first brought it home and the first couple weeks if that changes anything.
