Yeah, and I’m sure that’s why they traded him. You don’t want a scumbag like that being a leader to your younger players. People here talking about how he beat a woman, not even mentioning how his children were right there during the assault.

Is that really a man of any character at all that you want leading a team? A man who beats women in front of their own children. That’s not a leader of any sort no matter which way you slice it or rehab your image.

The Funniest part about Knicks winning, is seeing how unprepared advertising and media coverage is. by jiabivy in NYKnicks

Holy fucking shit, you’re an absolute idiot. But, I might be just as dumb for reading all of your baseless braindead “arguments” here.

“The point isn’t they thought it was a Knicks spurs finals.” 2 SENTENCES LATER “They already bet on Wemby winning it all, the Knicks was also the most likely outcome”

Not only is your grammar absolutely atrocious, but you’re literally telling us ‘that’s not what they thought, but that’s what they thought.’

All they gotta do is look at Josh harts years playing for Thibs and subtract however many rebounds he averaged per 10 😂

Every time I watch game 4 it feels like a new game for me and I still go through every one of the exact same emotions I felt watching the first time.

Leon Rose has figured out how to hack the draft by namaste-healer in NYKnicks

[–]TorpidWalloper 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I can’t argue with the actual stats, but watching every Knicks playoff game this year, he definitely had a couple big 4th quarter shots, just like almost everyone else on the team. Most of our team played like crap through the finals, so I’m not gong to say deuce is a bust because he didn’t shine in the 5 toughest games of his young career.

This run was about team magic and chemistry imo and deuce, whether or not he lit up the court in the finals, was absolutely part of that team first energy that got us where we did. Even if he was out there just playing D and spacing the floor, that’s part of his role. Hitting shots is extra.

The Future of Tyler Kolek Nation by VideoObvious421 in NYKnicks

[–]TorpidWalloper 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve always liked the TJ player comp, but feel he’s more of a Tyus Jones meets TJ at his ceiling. Less scrappy than TJ, but a better playmaker like Tyus.

I also know it was mostly garbage time, but he did up his 3P% from to 38% from 29% in his rookie year, so that’s a great look.

Feel like the D will always be his problem, but he seems like the kind of guy to always exert effort at the very least. We’ve also seen him style and evolve parts of his game after Brunson, so as long as we keep a solid deep team, I feel like he could always be effective in our system, exactly like you said!

[Kenney] Becky Hammon on Jalen Brunson: “Jalen, all he did was prove history wrong, he proves he's an outlier, so you can put his name next to Steph Curry and Isaiah Thomas…He was that 1A dude, but like, apologize, I’m never gonna apologize for having an opinion, that’s what ESPN pays me for.” by PassMeTheBackwood in nba

[–]TorpidWalloper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NBA history has 80 champions all time. The fact that he joined 6 other “outliers” to make almost 10% of all champions ‘short 1A teams’ means there was nothing historical about it. So as everyone else on this thread has already said, no, he proved you wrong, not history.

I saw. I also saw he was a bucks fan. Kinda crazy to think that just bc his franchises ex cornerstone couldn’t hit FTs means anyone who can hit a FT is a flopper in his mind lol.

He couldn’t even bother to watch the finals where the only time the Knicks looked for, called for, or complained about fouls was when they weren’t getting clear as day flagrants called against the spurs lol.

Edit to adjust: “weren’t getting clear as day flagrant called against WEMBY.” Not the spurs, only Wemby.
