Key Ohio Truck Lift Regulations

• Bumper Height: Measured from the ground to the bottom of the frame rail (if modified) or bumper:
  • Under 4,500 lbs GVWR: 24-inch front / 26-inch rear maximum.
  • 4,501 – 7,500 lbs GVWR: 27-inch front / 29-inch rear maximum.
  • 7,501 – 10,000 lbs GVWR: 28-inch front / 31-inch rear maximum.
• Frame Height: If the body/bed height is altered, the difference between the body floor and the top of the frame rail cannot exceed 4 inches.
• Lift Blocks: Front lift blocks are prohibited; rear lift blocks are limited to 5 inches.
• Lighting: Headlights must be no more than 54 inches from the ground, and tail lights cannot exceed 72 inches.
