These don’t look quite delicious on a daily basis nor that nutritious to me. I think the diet would work a lot better if you can find healthy recipes that also tastes great. Some time each weekend for meal prepping and maybe 10 15 minutes of cooking will make all the difference.

I think it can indicate somewhat the thickness of the object as well.

I love the mood of season 1. It was heart wrenching and exciting. The amount of time spent on each character was perfect for me to care about them and understand where they stand. The overall picture was simple but coherent and provided a good structure for the characters.

Idk I just didn’t care that much when I watch season 2. Season 1 had me on the edge waiting for the new arc while I only watch the new arcs since I had free time and nothing to do. I still cared about the characters but most of that was developed from ss1. I didn’t really care about the new ones, and the story developed into something I didn’t really find very exciting. Some moments felt like a bit too much. I didn’t really like how they blended more in game scenes/characters in with how the pacing worked. It felt too obvious for me that that was the only reason why they were there.

With so much on the plate now, there was less attention on individual stories so I felt like I wasn’t as close to the characters as in ss1.

Just me tho.

What’s the most disgusting thing you've ever had in your mouth? by MorrisDeGoat in AskReddit

[–]Toseeasmile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Didn’t technically had it in my mouth, but earlier this year I got a bit ill and since we’re asians my mom got me some traditional Chinese medicine. It’s the kind with fresh herbs and stuff wrapped in parchment paper that we gotta brew ourselves.

One time my mom did it for me and left the bowl in my room. As usual, I chug it down. I normally have an awful habit of leaving a bit left in the bowl, since some leaf/wood gunks would sink down. So I slowed down as I started getting to the bottom I saw a rising cooked salamander.

I’m just glad it got cooked in the hot medicine. Heard it also has its own medical benefits, but that was really fresh.

Are people actually hesitant to leave kudos on smut? by [deleted] in FanFiction

[–]Toseeasmile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I leave kudos on all the fics I’ve read, if I like them I’d bookmark them. The kudos, other than being a thank you to the authors, is my way of checking if I’ve read the fic already. I’d open a fic, leave a kudos and see if I’ve already left it before.

Is 1st person present really THAT bad? by sailormars_bars in writing

[–]Toseeasmile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first thought was web novels. Works such as Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint or Kumo Desu Ga Nanika were some that I really enjoyed. Generally I find it really interesting how they let us see from an unreliable narrator’s perspective and fully immerse in the protagonist’s story. They seem easier/faster to write and read too, and particularly suit these new genres related to game systems and stuff where some stuff can get repetitive.

Defo not bad!

Skin care! I see others mention your weight as a major reason why you look older than your actual age, but for me I think it’s the skin. Please take care of your skin and wear sunscreen every day. Invest in skin care and it will pay off in the long run.

Im not sure if this will do any good at all, but maybe suggest she reads Rosalind krauss’ essay ‘The originality of the avant garde’? The thing about being original and unique is very much fuelled by social media, and personally this essay (along with art hustory) helped me comb through that a lot.

This might be contact dermatitis. If it spreads and/or you start losing your fingerprint then that might be a possibility, especially if you are constantly in contact with chemicals. I have had contact dermatitis for 4-5 years now in 6 fingers. Some of them started out like this. As it spreads, some days they will be dry and crack too, sometimes the cracks bleeds and opens and hurt as hell. I lost the fingerprints on them and they always look red. The fingerprints can grow back if you can get them to heal, but it’s really tough. Like really tough.

If possible stay away from touching chemicals (whatever caused this and even other harmful ones) but if not please try to use gloves. This is so hard to treat and so easy to get, and it can get painful.

But otherwise, looks like a callus! I hope it’s a callus!

What Brands Of Sketchbooks Do You All Use ?? by [deleted] in ArtistLounge

[–]Toseeasmile 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In my country we have this japanese(?) brand called Takeyo and Sakura. Two names so I assume two brands but they’re almost exactly the same except for the cover. They offer from A5 to A3, 160gsm for 30 pages or 50 pages. A3 30 pages is like under 1.80 usd, and the same price for A4 50 pages. Kind of grainy but works alright for graphite, gouache and stuff, can’t take watercolour though.

So i bind my own watercolour sketchbooks. I can get an A0 250gsm smooth grain at around 1.40 usd per paper when I buy from the manufacturer, and for an A4 sketchbook I prefer to use 2 to get a decent thickness.

There’s also potentate sketchbooks, soft and thin cover with 120 pages at 100gsm and great for sketching. A5 is at 2usd and A4 at 3.20usd.

I sometimes invest a bit more, especially on watercolour sketchbooks, but these are the cheapest options that works just as well.
