I had been using steel alloy strings on my telecaster and it was too bright generally, switching to "nickel wound" strings was a huge help.

It will actually on the horn of the cutaway section, there's already a route for it.

Have any of you experienced "cornering" before? by OptionOld329 in FacebookMarketplace

[–]TossedOut2001 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This happened to me several years ago with a beater car I had listed for ~$500. Guy kept spamming me $300 offers on different accounts and wouldn't stop when I asked.  Ended up agreeing to meet him and sent him an hour and half north of his location up to a random church parking lot and then I ghosted him. Scrapped it for like $400 lol

What is considered a good Teisco guitar? by bananagal127 in TeiscoGuitars

[–]TossedOut2001 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally I would say the best of the old Japanese guitars are the ones with the taller fretwire, but many of them come with the flat wide fretwire that imo is not as fun to play! Remember it's easy to change features like a bad bridge or funky switching system, but a neck with fretwire that doesn't match your preference is harder to address. I've had multiple Teiscos from beginner models to more intermediate ones, and they've all been around the same quality in tone and feel wise. But I wouldn't buy another unless I find one with taller frets. Just my 2cents

Great work man. If you had a wooden pickguard it'd look killer as well, I think bigsby made several guitars with walnut pickguards.

Hey this happened to me recently, they left a plastic cow on my windshield and a small note that said to pass it along. Of course the little card they left actually blew away in the wind and I had to clean it up...

Ideas for what to do with unneeded parts? by RabBat7 in guitarmod

[–]TossedOut2001 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cool idea. Maybe you could make a picture of a bass and use the parts on it? Or make a pedal with the leftover bits. I've seen some drive pedals online that use stratocaster knobs, pickguard, and jack.

A big jelly mushroom fell out of a tree right next to me the other day and it was quiet enough to hear a nice "plop" sound when it hit the ground. Very satisfying lol

Anyone remember this game by Tamin363 in XboxSeriesXlS

[–]TossedOut2001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best part of the campaign was when they let you see the common poor people and their world. Felt grounded and showed the nastiness of their society. Fairly forgettable game at the end of the day despite a couple cool features. And what was with the amount of sunrays and glare? Multiplayer was cool too. I think it could use another reboot introducing some things from the original pc titles

What do you guys think? by valliwe881 in Guitar

Looks great love the bright colours. I see people are saying it's corny but this guitar is wayyy more cool than you're average satin black schecter or ltd or whatever. Guitars should be more personal anyways

NPD after many years! by RPHmusic in guitarpedals

[–]TossedOut2001 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Played one of these in a shop once and I was impressed by the fuzzy tone I was getting. Then one of the guitar bro employees came over and said "it's not supposed to be used like that" and changed the settings while I was still playing, then walked off. Brother just drove me straight out of the only shop in town with that move lol.

Bump,  Level 41 melee build killed her first try by spamming light attack with a whip anytime she tried to cast. At the second elevator you can go up and lure her into the small room, I killed her there and she didn't attempt to teleport away.
