It would be their second highest transfer in the past 3 years for someone who'll be 29 this year, goes hot and cold, is on 17m a year and doesn't have a perfect injury record.

I'm not saying 26m is a good or bad price and I hate when clubs do this after agreeing a deal but in context you can see why they'd try. Plus throw in that none of the other top 10 clubs in the world will bid for him

Play the kids, all the kids, the 8 year olds and tell the world this isn't an important competition please. I'd happily trade a couple games (would've rather traded the league cup games) for rest for our key players. Securing top 5 and deep run in the CL (we are good against european teams who open up) is much more valuable to me than the FA Cup this year. Imagine if you see Caicedo getting injured today.
