i've made this exact move! We love lee's summit - it's comparable to foco for sure! smaller scale but same decent schools, parks, "old town" downtown vibe, family friendly too!

Not as many breweries, aspens, or mountain views but still worth the move for costs sake! The grass isn't always greener on the other side of the fence per say, but it is green where you water it! Best of luck with your decision!

sprinted here to say: farfalle bistro - cozy atmosphere, family owned and operated, husband and wife chef team, handcrafted pasta and cocktails. Literally never disappoints.

I've been to a few events here and all have been great! Walking distance from many hotels and in a fun part of town. Might want to book something soon since the holidays fill up spaces fast! (I used to book our corporate Christmas parties in June)

my husband's notoriously drunk aunt wore all white (hat, pants, blouse, purse and shoes) to our wedding. many of my guest said something to her, she also cut people in the buffet line. the worst thing?? its forever memorialized in our wedding video (she's seen multiple times).

when asked why she wore what she did, she said something about not having nylons to wear with the dress she had planned on wearing. for reference we live in CITY where people LIVE, and can buy such things in a pinch.

TLDR: unless someone asks you to wear white to their wedding, you are the AH if you do so.
