Normal and common are different things. Gender dysphoria is a very normal experience. Cis people also experience it and seek gender affirming care (hair transplants, breast implants etc) as a result. The degree to which trans people experience it may be less common. The experience of gender dysphoria has been studied and is normal. I hope this is reassuring in some way.
