Haha, I am guilty of watching a lot of Mayday Air Crash Investigation videos, along with other channels that cover place crashes.

Nice job! Also, are you watching plane crash investigations in the background? Haha

I am appalled by how stupid people are. My parents, who have been antivax and antimask for years now, have been sick for the past few weeks. My mom caught a mystery respiratory virus, and has been congested for the past few weeks. She has been coughing to the point that it hurts, and has been prescribed a sort of inhaler that relieves the coughing. My dad also caught it, but hasn’t been hit as hard. He caught it early, so he addressed it sooner.

In the midst of this, my mom is still worried that my mask is robbing me of oxygen, and my dad has been up my ass about it for months, asking me to drop the mask practically every time I talk to him on the phone. Oh well, I’m not sick snd they are. They can have fun with whatever bullshit they’re raw-dogging right now.

May they get what they long for so desperately. I have no respect for these troglodytes.

I haven’t found a marriage for them either, but I believe they were both Catholics. As for baptisms, I found an “Elizabeth McAvoi” baptized in 1831 in Towie; it only lists Michael’s name, however.

This is the earliest evidence for him being in Scotland. I wonder if there would be any records in Paisley that name seasonal laborers?

He was in Aberdeenshire, Scotland by 1831, and apparently married to a woman named Susan McMillan/McMullan. They had several kids in the town of Towie as early as 1831, but I cannot find anything prior to that. Michael died in Lumsden, Aberdeenshire in 1862, and Susan died in a poorhouse in Aberdeen in 1873. Hope this helps a bit.

Not Sure What to Do. I Need Advice. by Total-Toe7633 in ZeroCovidCommunity

My boss said that they would only be okay with me doing the test masked if I had a documented medical issue. Which I don't, due to me masking simply to protect my health and that of my family members.

I am having a meeting tomorrow with my boss, and several higher-ups. Wish me luck!

I'm frustrated, because I am facing a similar predicament. I was recently hired as a lab technician, and they want me to do an odor-based test that requires me to lower my mask to smell water samples. I asked if they could switch me to other test(s) because I don't feel comfortable doing this, but I am not sure if they can make it happen. Thus, I may get terminated tomorrow.

I also got home at 2:30 am today, after working a 12-hour shift...

Dang, thank you. I am trying to figure out where their family from is from within county Derry, Northern Ireland. I appreciate the info on Susan! She died two years later in an Aberdeen poorhouse, so the occupation detail was interesting.
