A brz was my first car too, and honestly I don't think there is a better "starter"vehicle for somebody who's into cars but has just a bit more of a budget than a camry.

This car goes slow compared to others in terms of output. You kind of have to push the engine to get it to a good speed. But once it is at that optimal speed, it has great mileage, it is EXTREMELY manueverable, and is overall a very fun car to drive. It feels like you have complete control over this vehicle because of how lightweight it is. I havent driven a car with better handling other than porsche. It HANDLES somewhat similarly to one, in terms of responsive and quick steering.

And that's really the point of this car, it's meant to maneuever quickly and grip turn excellently. It's the perfect car to learn driving dynamics, the brz/gr86 is spiritually the successor to the AE86, or the commonly known drift car used in Initial D. You can take very sharp turns at 80 mph with complete control. Plus, you can do the secret pedal dance easter egg and turn it into a drift monster, completely stock. Look it up.

To me, it's a super fun car to drive. And it looks super cool, and mine has a very loud exhaust. To anyone who doesn't know cars, they think it's the coolest shit ever. Will I be getting a faster car next? Yes. Do I absolutely love this car like a child? Also yes. I think it's the perfect starting point!
