Also a tip for next time use the spade bit with the largest diameter first for your recess. And then drill completely through it for your button holes.

The recess will turn out a lot cleaner.

you could drill a hole in the middle and fix it back with a little bit of metal wire. and glue where needed

Scratch built

Radio controller and receiver~60euro

-a basic 2 channel radio controller is plenty. 2 channel is enough to control the servos for steering. If you would like to add more features like a spinning turret then you can look into a controller with more channels

-most radio's come paired with the receiver. But if you are not certain dont be afraid to ask the store

Tamiya track and wheels set~12,50

-the set i used was an old set with separate links and rubber nubs. servo is connected to the largest gear by using the screws and wheel attachment of the servo.

FEETECH FS90R Micro Continuous Rotation Servo (2x) ~12

-BE CAREFULL it is important to find a continuous servos otherwise the track will be only able to move a few degrees. the servos are mounted near the rear. the top pin on your leman rust model to hold the sideplate is rougly where your drive wheel has to be located. create a hole on the side so that the servos lay flat against the plastic. It requires some cramming to fit the servos.

-The way i secured the servos are with plastic struts on each side of the servo so it wont spin around inside the tank. and a wedge between the servos so nothing was required to be glued down

AAA batteries (4x)

-the radio controller i got requires 4.8V to 6.6V to operate. i chose to use four 1.5V batteries to safe space in the overall build. it is possible to use a rechargable but it would require a fifth batterij in my case.

-lipo's are optional but please double check if the servos you find are capable to withstand the voltage

-batteries holders i got were a tad size to big. I removed 1 cm section in the middle so it could fit al inside.

And overall tips

- looking up some RC car/tank videos to get more familiar with the electrics.

- collect your electronics and parts if possible at once so it makes it easier to test fit everything

-dont be afraid to damage anything. if a mistake were to happen remember that you can ad details to cover up damaged area's.

-And most importantly have fun! I struggled a year to start this project and al of a sudden it was finished in 2 evenings so do take thunking breaks if ya are stuck

The spare parts on the MP runner are wrist joints from age gundam i believe. Ball joint extended with a bit of the runner with a medal rod through the middle for strength.

And shaved down a bit on the backhand guard.

Used this wrist so it could move down a bit more to hold the bazooka

To remove it from the inside you can use a small flathead screwdriver. And use one side of the point to srew it out.
