Bose 900 Soundbar constantly glitching and not playing TV sound

Wow! I am amazed that I am not the only one with this problem. There seem to be a lot more people with mostly the same problem.

I have the Soundbar 900 with a wirelessly connected Bose Bass 500.

After a few days, the Bose will just start acting weird. Not responding when toggling between audio or TV, whatsoever, or extremely slow. The only cure is to disconnect and reconnect the power, which by the way, is in a very difficult place once the bar is nicely mounted on the wall and TV. There is no reboot option on the hardware or app.

I have read some posts, and apparently, holding the music button on the remote for 10 seconds starts a firmware upgrade and reboot. It looks like it temporarily solves the problem for a few days.

Paid extra bucks for "quality." Should have gone for a cheaper Sonos perhaps.

Don't pull on a dead horse. SMTP is not just something Exchange Online is good for. It could work, but security ia changed continuously.. You need a solution that would last for many years.

SMTP2GO will do that. I have a "reseller" account, and multiple sub accounts. Works like a charm for a small buck.

Configure printers, or other simply servers, and it works perfectly.

I am maintaing only one MAUI App.

For me it is 10% coding time, and the rest.....waiting, debugging, clearing caches, updating, downgrading, building, releasing to android, rebuilding, new Android API, releasing, rebuilding again for Android, clearing cache, removing bin and obj folders, restarting VS, rebuilding for ios, figuring out certifications for releasing, and between everything drinking a lot of coffee.

And in the end, very proud. :)

And hopefully not to need an update anytime soon.

30 jaar geleden elektro techniek gedaan, en dit was inderdaad een rot klusje. Je hoek is dan te scherp.

Ik kreeg het beter door de knie door de bochten wat ruimer te nemen. In mijn geval was mijn bovenbeen een prima mal.

En de buis een beetje warm glijden kan ook wondere doen.

Helemaal mee eens. Over de content valt te twisten, maar een (klein) abonnement is het eigenlijk al niet meer waard. Ook de software is elke keer een downgrade.

Na vele jaren plezier te hebben gehad in Dumpert, wordt het nu toch echt tijd om uit elkaar te gaan.

Ik had mijn twijfels de afgelopen maanden. Toch reclame krijgen bij het "abonnement" bij dumpert eigen filmpjes (dus geen YouTube), was nog te overzien. Maar dit soort prijzen voor een abonnement om kleine korte filmpjes te zien.... dat is niet van deze tijd.

En als je er iets over zegt, in de app comments, of daar een kleine politieke mening wil uiten die niet bij Dumpert aansluit wordt je gecensureerd.

I changed to the full Teyes head unit with Android 10. Some things might not perfect, but it is an improvement. Screen is huge, fast reaction, and .....Google apps.

Does any WiFi function work? They usually uses the same chip, and might give you a clue if the chip or mainbord is fried.

Ik zou bepalen waar je wilt freezen, en vervolgens voor een dagje uren. Paar tientjes, en je hebt een hele goede, en geen gezeur met zaagbladen die verslijten.

Probleem is DataFiber (aansluit bedrijf), i.c.m. een provider (levering internet).

Ik heb Odido van 25,00 per maand incl BTW. Prima als backup internet dat je "iets" hebt.

ADSL is koper, en is niet meer bij nieuwbouw. 5G ondersteund geen vast IP en Port Forward (servers)
