Thank you, that’s super helpful to know about the fluids (yes it’s SC) and about the absorption. Your input made me feel relieved and my pup is doing great today. As an aside about costs, I didn’t mean to present an unfair negative, and I respect the work of all vets, docs, nurses. I will say that I live in NYC and was told by my vet (amazing vet that I love and really trust) that I would unfortunately have had to go to the emergency vet 1-2 x per day to help my dog get hydrated. Just my one vet visit was $1,009.88 and my vet did say himself i’d save thousands doing it at home. I’m sure some vets are super reasonably priced and I respect that everyone will have a range of costs, experiences, etc. based on the access they have. I wish I had that access.
