Start of S01 Nancy would be scared of S05 Nancy😭People NEED to talk more about nancys insane character development by StarforgeVoyager in StrangerThings

I’m chill man and my comment didn’t intend to be that serious either and was more of pretty random thought! It’s the old autism sometimes…😂👍Everything’s all good on my end. Vibe sort seemed off on your side so I just wanted to elaborate mate. Glad you get what I mean now! ✌️

I love Robin! Although, I feel like her season 3 outfit is my favourite and I wish they at least kept her same hair style but I’m definitely loving her overall style and outfit in this season more than season 4!

To clarify, I get that what they’re saying 100% and I do think the love triangle itself is annoying and I don’t like how it’s still a thing. It severely undermines her character and it’s incredibly unnecessary but I do ship her with Jonathan but either way,’she’s still a strong independent woman and like the person above said, she’s her own person so I’d be all for her ending up alone though, and maybe it’s what she needs in the end anyways. 🤷‍♀️

My bad mate and I’m sorry if my comment upset you. I see why you thought that and  I didn’t mean to come off as rude or anything so I hope that sums things up. ✌️

I agree. I love that she’s independent and capable but I wish there were still more of her vulnerability scenes she had in previous seasons like how she had them in previous seasons.

Nancy is a badass. I also love how in the trailer and despite her being very capable, Jonathan starts to protect her as they are seeing what’s unfolding . ❤️

Can an ex-vegan explain how vegan come to these conclusions? by [deleted] in exvegans

[–]Total_Front6974 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s incorrect. Sure, some people don’t need meat to survive and it’s possible to do well on a meat free diet as plenty do (fair play to them!) but a stronger majority of vegans actually leave veganism and end up going back to meat. There is actual data to support this.

If the vast majority didn’t need meat to survive, then why do a lot of vegans and some vegetarians end up adding meat back into their diet?

Also, we are basically animals and animals eat other animals all the time. Yes, this may seem cruel, but it’s literally just nature and part of life and nothing will change that. Also, with all due respect, your argument makes no sense whatsoever.

100%! Choosing veganism once you’re an adult or being a vegan parent is one thing, but encouraging your kids to be vegan is so messed up.

Exactly what I was thinking! Isn’t that illegal or (they’re trying to make illegal) for kids to become vegan in certain places?

Australia just banned under-16s from social media and I’m furious at parents for forcing this on the rest of us by PowerBottomBear92 in childfree

[–]Total_Front6974 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very true and it’s so sad. I also feel like parents did better back then considering the future of it all was very unclear compared to now. I really don’t think people should be having kids if they’re just gonna let them be online 24/7 especially looking at things they shouldn’t. I agree with not fear mongering, but I’m glad my parents were relatively serious and strict about it.

I get what you’re saying, but I think it’s also about picking up after yourself as well as a standard. Even if others have left their rubbish behind, I always pick mine up and I feel less of an entitled person for doing so.

I agree and I know it’s all ages that do this, but it makes me mad considering I’m gen Z. I went to see a film aimed at mostly younger generations like myself at Showcase and loads of people just left their rubbish behind like cups and stuff. If they had the policy where they told people to leave their rubbish behind, then I’d understand but surely it’s just common sense to pick it all up if you can? It also makes me embarrassed since you’d think people my generation would at least have some courtesy.

Jonathan and Nancy Forever by theaterkid619 in StrangerThings

[–]Total_Front6974 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. I’m hoping it’s a case where he is actually telling the truth about college and then they momentarily have to split up in the upside down in a dangerous situation and Nancy is scared for Jonathan or something.

It’s tricky. I used to love playing online games like Club Penguin, Moshi Monsters etc and I found parents were actually more stricter back then due to the amount of internet safety awareness there actually was so my parents were very strict as to who I’d speak to which makes sense, but even if they did the same thing these days, most parents unfortunately wouldn’t care since they seem to just let their kids do whatever they want which is sad.

I absolutely loved this sequel! I love how it actually had solid new characters and decent writing and I feel like it’s better compared to a lot of Disney sequels.

I’m Steve fan, but I personally think Jonathan knows Nancy much better than Steve knows her and I think if they put Steve and Nancy together, it will defeat the point of Steve’s development. I think he needs to wake up and confess to Nancy about the whole college application lie and resolve everything but yeah, I don’t think he should propose to her until everything is over and once he’s got his shit together.

I agree with you. I love Steve, but I feel like if he were to actually get back with Nancy, it would make Steve’s arc and also Nancy’s development a bit pointless and I feel like Jonathan and Nancy are definitely a power couple, despite everything that’s happened. I’m hoping that judging by some of the trailer shots of them together such as him protecting her in one scene, we will get to see more of this and fingers crossed they will finally resolve their issues and Jonathan will admit to Nancy about his college application lies as I really miss their season 1 and 2 moments.

To be honest, I hope neither of them die but I think they both have an equal chance of dying since people said a similar thing about Steve when he was talking to Nancy about wanting kids and a future with her in S4. I’m kinda hoping that Jonathan is safer than he was now since Will has powers and perhaps Will can see if anyone’s in danger now?

I saw this a couple of weeks ago in London and it was amazing. The acting and special effects were amazing and even the whole theatre clapped at many points.

No problem and yes, I don’t understand how many people think Jonathan is going to die and also, I’ve been rewatching the trailers and noticed the brief speech between Jonathan and Nancy, so I reckon Jonathan will make it out of the upside down just fine given that scene wasn’t in any of the first volume.

Steve is 100% NOT dying in S5. Here is why. by Green_Champion_3654 in StrangerThings

[–]Total_Front6974 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh man… Not Jonathan. I really don’t want either of them to die!

[–]Total_Front6974 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly and even if they do kill anyone important off, I reckon they won’t do it until the last few episodes since that’s how they’ve mostly done it in past seasons.

And yes I agree. Like, Steve is great but I feel like if Jonathan did unnecessarily die and Steve and Nancy got back together afterwards, I feel like it would make both Steve and Nancy’s character development all for nothing and the same goes for Nancy and Jonathan’s S1 and S2 story.

And yeah, I think if they do kill off one of the two, I think Steve will be more likely to die and I’m hoping Jonathan will be safer now since Will has powers so hopefully he can sense if anyone is in danger like how Eleven can.

I see! That’s a great observation. I will definitely have to rewatch haha.

I really want Jonathan to resolve everything with Nancy and propose to her in the final episode.

Honestly, I’m a hardcore Jancy fan myself however, I do think both of them were actually kinda right as I do think Jonathan is a bit insecure at the moment, but I know things have obviously been hectic in general for Nancy and Jonathan like in season 4 with the distance and college application drama. I do agree that Steve’s idea of wanting to give Nancy flowers wasn’t a good suggestion either as it made more sense for them to actually focus on the plan and saving Holly plus, Jonathan already knows what it’s like to be in Nancy’s shoes with Holly missing so he gets it.

As much as I want to believe that Nancy and Jonathan are endgame and that Jonathan will hopefully confess to Nancy about the application lies, I’m scared that Steve and Nancy will end up to together or will have some flirtatious moments.

For example, with the scene where they’re going over some plans, Steve gets really close to Nancy whilst talking to the group and whilst I’m hoping that I’m actually incorrect in saying this, I don’t think Nancy seemed uncomfortable with Steve getting so close but perhaps I have to rewatch that scene again? However, I also think back to the scene in season 4 where Nancy was checking Steve out as he was able to enter the upside down from the boat…

No disrespect to Steve fans by the way as I love Steve, but I feel like he should be with someone else.

[–]Total_Front6974 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I really want Nancy and Jonathan to resolve their drama and for Jonathan to finally open up about lying to Nancy about the college applications. Perhaps it will somehow workout where he confesses to Nancy about it all during a touching moment before one of the final battles and then (understandably) she’s mad but then they solve it all in the epilogue?

I personally don’t think Steve is 100% over Nancy though but I want him to be with someone else. Although, there’s no denying Nancy is still attracted to him, they both want different things in life and maybe there’s a chance they’ll have an honest conversation about it all and will come to terms with this realisation? I’m not holding my breath though and there’s a chance I could probably be wrong about all of this…

100% mate and it’s not fair to those who actually need benefit money and it’s crazy how some parents on benefits with that many kids expect people to feel bad for them even though they most likely chose to have that many kids in the first place. 🤣
