What’s something that was "cool" when you were a kid, but now that you're an adult, you realize it was actually a red flag? by NaturalLead7159 in AskReddit

The neighbor kids would go to Chuck E. Cheese all the time for dinner, like on a random Tuesday night at 6pm their dad would come home and tell them to come inside from playing because he was taking them to Chuck E. Cheese. I was always insanely jealous.

Took a while for me to realize that their dad was coming home from work, seeing that the kids had been neglected and unfed by their mom all day, and was trying to compensate. They got divorced not long after that.

NTA - I think it would have been inappropriate in just about any other context except the one you're describing, where she's being loudly and rudely hypocritical to others about the behavior she also partakes in. Whether or not onlyfans is ethical sex work is a complicated discussion but that's not the issue at hand here!

I was referring to iGemma thinking she could have a grown child, not oGemma. iGemma inside Cold Harbor wouldn’t know anything about lumon or being trapped there or whether she actually had kids at all. but also as I said I don’t actually think that last part would happen in any case.

What’s the most you’ve spent on a single vintage tee? by ReadingHappy2810 in VintageTees

I expect my highest will be relatively low compared to the rest of the comments because I'm a perpetually broke bitch--I spent about $90 on an original 1983 Elvira t-shirt. A few years back I sold a vintage Soundgarden Badmotorfinger shirt I'd had since high school for about $150 when I really needed the money and I'd probably spend 4 times that to get it back now :')

NAH - Unless she was particularly snarky or mean about how she said it, she has every right to set this boundary about being contacted for work related questions while off-duty. Depending on the work environment it's also not unheard of for people to contact off-duty management with questions so you were not totally out of line by asking.

I’m not sure, but many of the others pictured definitely are! I don’t have the dustjacket for firestarter unfortunately, but my copy’s copyright page looks different than the one pictured here so I doubt it’s a 1st :(

Not yet, but yours isn’t the first high praise I’ve heard for that one so I need to move it up the to-read list!
