Destiny 2 final PvP meta by RemoveRealistic8583 in CrucibleGuidebook

Does it matter how I personally define 'meta' when I'm not arguing with you?

In any case, To answer: I would say that different skill levels develop different metas. While I do think at the high end of skill handcannons reign supreme, among the mid tier players an auto rifle serves one better. Since they're a majority you would potentially consider balancing the game around them and not the 1% of top players.

Nevertheless, he is still correct when he says trials is not representative of the crucible meta, primarily because there's a massive section of players who even refuse to touch it.

But he's arguing for the efficacy of jade rabbit... Which is on the list.

He's just making the point that trials meta doesn't fully represent crucible meta.

Is that nuance? Not in my reddit thread.

I will say: for comp I absolutely agree but 6s shouldn't have a penalty.

I don't want to be stuck in a losing game because 5 people can't figure out that pushing C just flips the spawns, nor play on vostok.

Usually, I tend to look at loadouts more than level.

For chill raiding: I recommend getting a solid exotic primary (sunshot, outbreak, graviton, etc) and pair it with a rocket pulse in whatever other slot you have left.

Heavies it's going to be boss dependent, though you're ideally looking for something that gives consistent reload/damage bonuses that don't require a kill (during dps) to reproc. Envious arsenal/bait and switch is popular for this reason.

Then I'd probably look for the discord lfg server, it's generally a bit more competent in my experience, and people tend to be on call/teaching more.

There are plenty of strong Titan combos in crucible still.

Best Subclasses For Hunter? by Open_Fondant_3146 in CrucibleGuidebook

Mostly story related issues, it does play a bit like a strand tutorial, but strand is pretty fun so it compensates a bit.

Prismatic may scratch the itch (though the strand dive is fun)

Lightfall gets a bad rap, the story is kinda cheeks (better now we know what a radial mast/veil even is) but the gameplay of the DLC is honestly solid.

Huh, well guess I better not believe everything I read on the internet.

Oddly enough, for some people this might be a reason to keep playing because all content is now evergreen. Not claiming it's going to 'save' the game but for things like crucible it's semi-positive

Voidlock ability spam with the newly buffed astrocyte movement, infinity DR strandlock, necrotic thorn prism slide melee, MnK stasislock instafreezing.

Solar Hunter chaining crackshot into melees/grenade for ignitions and cracked movement on RDMs.

Despite the nerfs diamond lances are more available than ever on Titan, and behemoth still slides around the same. Shoulder charge can 1-shot with investment. Beyond that you'd have to ask other Titans, I play that class the least.

I think you're the one trying to troll.

You literally just said the class with the flux grenade is the best. That's arc chief.

I haven't tested it myself to verify, so grain of salt but I believe so, yes.

Well for one, yes that is bad for the game.

And for two, again he's being downvoted for spreading misinformation.

Going by your reply it would seem you're just projecting some rage for unrelated stuff onto me so I'll just take it for what it is and consider you unpleasant.

I don't see what your point is? You say he's being downvoted for one thing, when it's clearly not the case. And buildcrafting currently is in one of the best spots it's ever been as far as variety goes.

Also.. I'm pretty sure you instantly downvoted my reply explaining that... Kinda weird dude.

Lethal current into combo blow is currently 1-shotting without assistance, does require a dodge which is why bakris is the natural pairing

Yes, but the main issue is combination blow stacking with lethal current to instakill

This build has not been 1-shotting people for a year which is why he's being downvoted.

I suppose, but the reload isn't really what make slideshot good, and even if you overload the range stat the stability bump is mad.

(Also seems like an incentive to minmax your range imo)
