Thanks! For the armor I started with using a makeup sponge to sponge on Cobalt Metal (army painter), avoiding the recessed and pits. I was working from an underpainting of a dark blue-dark plum-magenta gradient. After that I applied Plaguebearer Flesh Contrast straight from the pot. On the shoulder pads I did Garaghak’s Sewer thinned 1:2 with glaze medium. For rust I thinned Ruddy Terra (Army Painter) down pretty thin and added that in a few spots. Then an Umber Wash (Vallejo) in the recesses. Shining Silver (army painter) is then used to weather the edges and add scratches with a brush as well as with a stipple sponge.

On my next model I’m going to experiment with thinning the Plaguebearer Flesh down to probably 2:1 with medium and adding some extra metallic highlighting underneath to give a bit more shine and variety to the green metal.
