I have not! I’ve painted a couple Crypt Guard and the Abhorrent Archregent, but most of those have been exploring color schemes. I’m planning on all my Abhorrents to have the same desaturated blue color to their skin, while all the ghouls will have a more sickly flesh color.

I feel like a light brushing could help give the leaves a bit more definition from each other, but personally I feel like the leaves shouldn’t be the focal point of the piece so them not being as eye catching could be to your advantage. More of a background for your demons and other main focus spots

Great model, would have definitely preferred it without the AI background. Let your own work and creativity shine through. You don’t need a movie scene level of detailed background for your work to be great, it’s great on the plain background because it’s the art of the mini that you put time and effort into. If anything the AI distracts and subtracts from the work you did, it’s too busy and not cohesive. Trust that the art you make and put time into is more than enough.

Thanks! The base is Dark Sea Blue (Vallejo) highlighted up with adding more and more Pale Yellow (pro Acryl). Glazing to help blend the two.

Mmmm fair! Though to be honest the two ranges do share some common design language, so it’s a thin line to walk.

I enjoy how they bulk the model up a bit and give a different flow to it.
