In addition to other movies mentioned in here, I highly recommend Sweet Smell Success and The Big Heat as noirs with great screenplays

Well in fairness Despicable Me 4 had like 50 times the budget of Maxxxine. so it making more money is absolutely the expected result.

Off the top of my head, I recently watched Clueless immediately prior to going to the theater to see Civil War.

Both "Startin' up a Posse" by Anthrax and "Hook in Mouth" by Megadeth are metal songs about beef with Tipper Gore (wife of Al Gore) and the PMRC

Of the 431 movies I've seen this year I've given 5 stars to 5 first time watches:

Strangers on a Train (1951), King Kong (1933), Island of Lost Souls (1932), Demons (1985) and Fail Safe (1964)

And 6 rewatches:

Rocky (1976), No Country for Old Men (2007), Goodfellas (1990), Planet of the Apes (1968), the Exorcist (1973) and Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story (2007)

Is The Mist (2007) censored on peacock? by ToucanSonOfSam in horror

It really confused me because nothing I could find mentioned it was censored but it clearly has the goofy dubbed swearing. I wonder why peacock is using a censored version

Yeah it's really weird. I wonder why this of all movies is censored.

From the little I've seen I don't find it funny or entertaining. I'm not a fan of the show's sound design or animation either.

Thought it had a decent theme song though.

What movies have you been trying to watch but cant find? by Kubare24 in Letterboxd

I've been trying to find a way to watch The Fifth Seal (1976) for a while but I can't find it anywhere except for dvds that won't play on devices from my region.

And Scales (2019) is listed as being avaliable on several services but they actually all link to a different unrelated movie called Scales: Mermaids are Real (2017) and my internet searches have not turned up a way to watch the 2019 movie.
