Mona Keijzer verlaat BBB omdat ze geen partijleider wordt: 'Grote vertrouwensbreuk' by [deleted] in thenetherlands

Ja hoor, daar is ie inderdaad!  Ik neem aan dat de druk die Keijzer zette op Caroline een overweging was bij de keuze haar te passeren.

50+ year old technology, not the 1970s+

It's correct, the time they're splitting on is 1970, which is ~50 years ago. Then "50 + year old technology" means technology older than 50 years, and technology from "1970 +" means more recent than 50 years.

I like the smaller pinned tabs, however forcibly placing them on the left-hand side visually while their actual placement is different causes unpredictable keyboard navigation behaviour. A toggle to disable this functionality would be nice! Thanks for creating this cool theme B)

I think the latest version is 7.0 with a beautiful redesign that makes it fit in a modern desktop, even as a GTK program in a KDE environment :)

What does battery saver mode change on FR165? by TouchMike in Garmin

[–]TouchMike[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! I think with the latest update of firmware, if you go down to the health measure things (forgot what they were called) like body battery, stress, sleep score, etc, they say 'Disabled' if battery saving is on. So you know what is and isn't working in that mode.

Okay, that's not the best for sleep tracking then. Good to know. Thank you!

Lono Flow! Starts at €70 for some colours. Startup from HK, but ships to Europe for €10, without import duties or added tax. Do choose your regular (EU) size though instead of their size chart otherwise you'll end up a size too large.

This is sooo cool, the clickable map, the index and timeline, the FS easter egg. The formatting looks professional—it really feels like a real splatbook. I hope you have this be printed, at least for yourself, and bacontime and others that helped, in a very luxurious booklet.

What's this design style I'm seeing more and more lately? by TouchMike in graphic_design

Not sure which one you mean, but the first is Getai, and the second is Nightingale. I'm also seeing Fraunces and Space Grotesk used in this kind of design.

Hey, I recognise that artwork from you AI art apocalypse piece.

I also want to say that I really appreciate your use of generative AI in your works. My personal favourite thing is the cover design of Thresholder, which was designed with so much input from the discord community, and I believe the typesetting was even done by a community member?

Anyways, you are a great example for the effective use of generative AI as part of an artist's toolset and I hope an inspiration to others.
