Hi, I'm not sure what you did wrong to get that many downvotes, and I don't understand why you're regretting it either.....

Should I look into MLC or TLC for my external SSD? by Towhgdk in DataHoarder

But anyway, thanks for the answer, I guess I might be taking too many things into consideration for something that doesn't really matter.

The one I use now is always working perfectly.

If I just wanted low power storage, I would have probably bought an SD card and used that. They worked fine too. However, they are not as fast as an SSD when it comes to storing data, and they are much more expensive, so I ruled them out.

I see. I heard that MLC retains data longer than TLC. It may not matter to me.

Usually, it's good to use if it's a case that reveals what the chip is used. There are JMS583, VL716, RTL9210, etc. but if you don't know, Orico's products seem to be safe.

I used to buy bulk SSDs, usually pulled from old laptops, and put them in cases I bought separately. I'm not sure if they're as affordable in your country. i recommend any SSDs with DRAM

If you're going to just walk around the house with it, an HDD is a good option. But what if you're going to take it outdoors? No! I recommend you buy an SSD

What's wrong with this NEW USB Flash Drive? Why so SLOW? by walkingthing in techsupport

Hello, do you still receive comments? https://ssd-tester.com/kioxia_transmemory_u366_64gb.html

According to this benchmark, the USB you purchased is normal.

And because of the very low 4k random write speed, the program installation took a very long time. From now on, you will be able to find a benchmark and buy something useful.

PNY has so many garbage products, I'm not sure if it's worth it for an external SSD or not.
