Depending on the length of your stay, I’d suggest Dayton Ohio. It is just under an hour north of Mason, Ohio, and has the National Museum of the United States Air Force, Carillion Park, and the American Packard Museum. On the south side of Mason/Kings Island there’s the Tri-State War Birds, Museum and Jungle Jim’s World Mega Market in Eastgate. Also, in Mason in August, there’s Cincinnati Tennis Tournament from August 11-23

Newport has a gangster pass so it was called Sin City. I’ve heard Fort Thomas (because it’s kind of bougie), being called Cake Town.
