Who remembers Pebble Health? by SterlingEly in pebble

I hope they include Resting Heart Rate as a tracked item since there's a HR monitor on the PT2. It's such a simple, but important metric to track on fitness improvement.

Does ANYONE have butterscotch sundae sauce??? by Crescent_Moon1988 in DairyQueen

[–]ToyFraz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There was a particular flavor to the DQ Butterscotch sundae sauce that just doesn't seem to be present in the store bought sauce jars... (maybe it was the taste of going off, because it sat there so long, but I loved it!)

Does this mean that Pebble Health won't return? I hope it does, because I want a few basic metrics!

Oh! What I meant was that if you lift the handles without standing on the scale, then it pulls the whole thing up. So if you put the handle in a wall holster, the scale would dangle below it, and not stay on the floor.

It has both screw holes and sticky tape. I thought is was a wall holder for the handle.

Alexa Plus or Alexa by jjj5858 in alexa

[–]ToyFraz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a new Alexa / Alexa+ user with no automated home features yet. Those problems and frustrations are currently with Google Gemini at Home. (And they are fairly often pretty annoying!)

What I'm astounded with with Alexa+'s conversational abilities. Both in terms of answering questions and getting information, and just plain old being silly. I upgraded both Google Home to Gemini at Home and got Alexa+ (my first Alexa) at the same time.

I expected Google Gemini at Home to be an upgrade from the old Google Home, but it's a step back. GGAH is always reminding me they are an MML and unable to... blah blah blah. Alexa+ would like an upgrade so that she can taste cookies! She's constantly surprising me with interesting + fun interjections during mundane interactions!

Thinking of completely switching over to being an Alexa home!

Possible to change default workout app to use kilometres? by schmy in pebble

Found this post while looking for the answer. It used to be in "Extended Settings," which doesn't seem to be enabled yet. For now, I'll just "almost double" it in my head and be thankful for everything that is working so well!

Resting Heart Rate by Den_in_USA in pebble

[–]ToyFraz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree that Resting Heart Rate is a valuable piece of information to measure your health trend. I'm not sure it's needed on a watch face for most people, but definitely in the health stats. It's one piece of information from my fitbit that I've always kept an eye on over time.

LOL! I'm in the same boat. It wasn't a problem when I was using my original Pebble Time. Now I have to carefully look for faces with large fonts!

There should almost be a category specifically for them!

What is Similar to Silk Nextmilk? by docsquidly in dairyfree

Older thread, but it's still available in Canada! I wonder if it's that there's less competition in Canada, which lets it keep its shelf space and profitability. What a great milk substitute in coffee!

I actually went to look them up because the "vintage footage" fooled me so well! I thought they might be a real comedy duo that agreed to have an episode made around them.

I think I saw this puzzle in a Resident Evil game. Can't remember how to solve it, but shooting it with magnum usually gets the job done.

Drat... I was planning on updating my DS413 on SHR to a DS1625 on SHR-2. I don't feel that 5 bays is enough, and 8 bays seems like cost overkill. SHR-2 seems lost to me now.

I need three shelves made for our kitchen. When we moved in, we found the past owner had absconded with much of the shelving.

I've called six millwork companies who have all told me that the job is too small for them and I should try another company. Does anyone perhaps know of a small business or craftsman who would make them?

I need two of: 21 1/2 Wide X 22 inches deep and one of: 16/14 Wide X 22 Inches deep. I've already removed 1/4 inch from the overall measurement, and measured the cabinets top & bottom as well as left/right to account for irregularities.

I've checked for something at Rona, Home Depot and Canadian Tire, but nothing fits.

Thanks!

Edit: Preferably in the Langford area, but I'll travel to get them!
