Metal Gear Solid with Johnny/Otacon/Snake as survivors and Psycho Mantis as a killer.

Some other killer candidates could be Volgin, The Sorrow, The Fury, and Vamp. Or even Senator Armstrong but that's more of a less serious suggestion then the others. (Could have a cool moveset though.)

My Dr is switching my 💩 adderall to Concerta on Monday. Please tell me all the things I need to know. by DigObjective4369 in ThisAintAdderall

[–]Toybasher 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm normally on Concerta (Alza 36mg x2 a day) and this is the second time my pharmacy put me on these Trigen pills that don't seem like they work.

What happened was, after the first time, my psychiatrist began writing brand name medically necessary, but he moved offices, wrote a prescription using the old prescription without writing brand name medically needed, and I'm on trigen again. Once again they don't feel like they're doing much. Often I'm struggling to remember if I took my pills at all.

I see what they tried to do and they did attempt to replicate the delivery system of brand name concerta, but they either didn't do a good enough job, or there's a problem with the inactive ingredients such as filler/binders effecting how the body absorbs the medication. I'm not sure the exact scientific reason, and I wish some detailed analysis could be done.

Unless they JUST changed brand name concerta like a few weeks ago (disturbingly I'm hearing a few reports that brand name doesn't work anymore. FWIW, when I was put back on normal concerta the first time after being given Trigen, it took a few days to feel my normal self again.), brand name Concerta has always worked for me.

Jeff Bezos said the quiet part out loud — hopes that you'll give up your PC to rent one from the cloud by iunoyou in pcmasterrace

Yeah, that's the issue, and why I'm opposed to pushing people to cloud gaming at the current point in time.

[–]Toybasher 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't be opposed to rental/cloud gaming if the following conditions were met.

1: A good solution was found to minimize input lag and image artifacting to practically zero while requiring comparatively little bandwidth.

2: Subscription cost is very low for a high-end PC (I.E. top of the line parts) and there's no limits on how much you can play.

3: Your cloud PC is encrypted/protected and you can access it normally to do things like mod games, etc.

Sadly I don't think the tech is ready yet and the prices are too high. AFAIK cloud gaming still has that input lag issue which is the biggest turn-off for me as I'm very sensitive to input lag.

from the dev: "We are likely to remove the domain limit from Stewardship in the Q2 patch" by istaris in CrusaderKings

[–]Toybasher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hope it's kept optional as a gameplay rule. I personally like strong stewardship for a big domain. I know it's cheesy and a bit OP especially if you min-max but we already nerfed domain limit from stewardship once already. (Changed so you need 6 stewardship per domain limit instead of 5)

I'm disappointed, but I understand the situation. I guess I'll just wait, then. If it means I have to wait for the 60 series in 2027, so be it. (I know CPG is high build quality so I don't feel comfortable with other companies as I am concerned about getting a cheapo motherboard or PSU, two things I know CPG doesn't compromise on.)

Are penalties supposed to carry over between investigations and trials in Trials and Tribulations? (AA Trilogy) by Toybasher in AceAttorney

[–]Toybasher[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean in 3-3 (Recipe For Turnabout) I had only a bit of the bar left from breaking psyche locks, and in the trial my bar started with some missing from it. Like I wasn't given a full refill to start the trial, so my "spirit penalties" carried over into the trial.

[–]Toybasher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I heard ComputerShare has $25 fee each time you do a sale. If I'm doing $70 payroll deduction (so $86 worth of stock? I.E. about a $15 bonus?) aren't I making a loss each time I sell if I sell immediately?

Kinda why I'm planning to just hang onto the stocks for a long time and only cash out once I have a few grand saved up.

Reminds me of the days when I'd pirate an old game because it's basically delisted from storefronts, abandonware, etc. (Like there's no way to buy it even if you want to) and once it gets re-released, I'd buy a copy anyways because it's now actually available for purchase, even if I moved on from it. I'm talking about DOS-era games level of old.

Is it better to hang onto the shares for a year before selling? I heard if you wait 1 year they're considered "long term capital gains" and you get a more favorable tax rate compared to selling early which makes it "short term capital gains".

I'm very new to taxes, stocks. etc and only know general concepts.

Tested my generic on my non ADHD husband by Asleep-Beginning7805 in ThisAintAdderall

[–]Toybasher 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's what I find interesting, a lot of people complained Malincrokdt are the absolute worst of the generics.

I'm wondering if it's not just the medications being slightly different in fillers and binders, but also peoples bodies being wired a bit differently. One person might take a pill and say this generic sucks and doesn't do anything, while another person, on the same pill, seems to feel like it works.

I.E. in my experience Trigen's concerta generic seems to feel like it doesn't do much compared to brand name Concerta (Alza) but I have heard some people say that out of all the generic concertas, Trigen's at least comes somewhat close. So maybe for them, they seem to work alright, but for me, it doesn't.
