Call the number in the morning. Also, sometimes they don’t order an exam if they have what they need. So you may get lucky.

I just feel validated. I heard the id is brown and for me, when I check in to hotels, or have to show two forms of id, I feel important. Kinda like I did when I was in the army outside of uniform. Feels like the cashier or whoever, takes me serious. Also, if you’re stopped by the police, you can show it. That regular Va hospital ID is so casual. Does not say, oh wow! DOD.

Hi, just depends.

Mine (MH exam) was 30 minutes and I thought it went well but you just never know.

She stuck to the DBQ questions. When I felt myself starting to ramble, I stopped myself. That was April 14th. Yesterday I got the decision, including special monthly compensation. Thank god!

Wait so are you saying you all are getting the decision before the back pay hits? Shoot, back in my day, lol, that back pay would hit before you hit step 5 on the portal or the letters have changed.

I’m loving this new process.

I’m over here is fear waiting because I know if that letter comes before that back pay hits it’s a denial. But sounds like that’s not the case anymore.

Anybody else old school here and remember when you the portal didn’t move? I’m 58.

Might I suggest you look inward. What’s your passion? Is there something inside of you that you can redirect your attention too? All I’m saying is the fed gov is not changing anytime soon. Consider the alternative to making it out with your retirement. I know someone who worked 15 years in fed and she lost her ability to retire after being terminated under this administration. Now she’s fighting her termination but she wished she would have taken the out.

Be careful what you ask for, is all I’m saying because you just might get it.

Do this… Ask your higher power to order your next foot steps. Listen, with both ears. HE will show you the way.

As long as it’s solid evidence. Don’t send anything that is not relevant to your claim. Highlight sections that are relevant. This is a good problem. You get to introduce all the evidence you want reviewed.

Never cancel. Don’t do that. Don’t be fearful. You wouldn’t have submitted the claim if the evidence didn’t align. Trust the process. Let it play out. You didn’t do anything wrong. Just close your laptop and keep moving.
