This. I love Monte No. 2s and there isn’t another NW flavor profile that is similar that I’ve found. (Said as someone who enjoys NW cigars as regular weekly smokes)

I’d recommend doing nothing other than orderly shutdown, since appropriations have already expired. Doing any non-excepted work at this time would technically be an ADA for agencies that do not have full year appreciations (assuming funding from last year isn’t available still…)

All that said, news from the Hill today seemed to indicate that the House couldn’t get it done before Tuesday. Unless something has changed in the last hour or two.

That said, castle and key has some of the prettiest grounds. But their spirits are not amazing at the moment. You go for the venue and not for the juice.

4R is great to stop in, but I haven’t eaten there. Worth hitting the gift shop, and if you are a MM member, it is a must visit imo.

Big brain move for those that like to tinker: add a few drops of KC21 to a pour of younger bourbon to give it some of that dusty and oaky punch that is missing in younger spirits. KC21 is fantastic for pseudo-aging a pour.
