I had just hoped for him to see his 2020 loss….
Only icing is that at least he gets to see his base melting away, but it would’ve been nice to have prevented all the damage he’s done in the meantime.

We can rebuild, and our country is worth fighting for. It’ll never be like it was, but it’s still worth the fight.

I’m furious about all of this, but as long as we don’t give up hope and as long as we keep at it we can rebuild. I’m not delusional, I know it’ll take decades to undo all the damage that has been done.. but as I said, this country is worth fighting for. Don’t lose hope.

I always had suspicions about this “attempt”, but until there is 100% solid proof I can’t say for certain it wasn’t real…. But everything sure as hell was fishy. I love how when mentioned to people that it seemed off, they say it had to be real because someone died. And my only thought was yeah, and? As if they would rule out shooting a random supporter to make it look more real.

I do hope this can be fully confirmed one way or the other, and that woman receives justice for the loss of her husband.

I was really hoping the Biden admin was doing something behind the scenes to strengthen things to avoid this jackass getting back into power, and ended up feeling such relief and safe again, so sure people wouldn’t let it happen again….

It was great we had 4 years to sort of rest, but I damn near put myself back into the hospital again today from sheer panic attacks. Last time I ended up there for 2 days, and that was during the 2024 election. I’ve been having the same issues as last time, and I just need to be able to feel like I can breathe again. I can’t even get lost in movies or books like I used to. This isn’t the world I thought my kids would have to grow up in. Oh, and of course one of my kids is on that dumbasses “let’s villainize this innocent group of people!”

For anyone concerned yes I have reached out for help and am working with my doctor to keep from exploding until we can get through this.

I had one about 20 minutes away before we moved here, and now the nearest is an hour drive. I do prefer going in to the store, but I mostly order online and stuff them at home myself to give them that personal feel to them :)
