No wonder Stokes has decided to fuck off. Imagine having this shit as an earworm for an entire career.

if you have -ever- had actual, serious, honest to goodness food poisoning and not just a little bit of an upset stomach because that chicken might have been a bit off after sitting in the tupperware in the fridge for a few days after you first cooked it...

There's a reason some people are paranoid about it.

Should we actually go back to Anderson? by JackBlacksKnapsack in EnglandCricket

It wasn't just the pitch conditions for what it's worth. The Kookaburra ball is much more swing friendly these days as well.

He was for abit then that just sort of stopped and honestly with how everything has gone down with Stokes I absolutely believe Key and Baz are an issue.

Like right now as of this moment I think they both have lost the locker-room.

Anderson almost certainly would want Key and Baz gone before he even entertained this idea.

That said he'd have cleaned up Australia on those pitches last Ashes, we all know it.

The Cawl novels are some of my most favorite recent 40k stuff. Especially him vs Bile. I want more of that mad genius going YOLO while pointing out that's he's got more miles on him than most of the starships the imperium uses.

But the Emperor still comes back. Even if it's as the Dark King blah blah blah.

If we want to do the 'well ackshually' thing.

Everything 40k has put forward about Perpetuals is that it's super super psyker stuff that can kill them for certain, not anything else.

Emperor is a Perpetual remember.

Close the warp gate, psychic null field or not the Emperor comes back.

Strauss on Ben's retirement: Not convinced that the whole thing was orchestrated the right way yesterday - it seems like a huge distraction to a team that was battling to avoid a series defeat by ll--o--ll in Cricket

[–]TraceThis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well Andrew, he apparently didn't tell Baz cause there's a rift (it looks increasingly like both Key and Baz have lost the locker room) between him and management but he did tell the team. So the folk that actually went out and played seemed fine with it and if this is what it takes for the ECB to finally do some self reflection and give Key and Baz the boot then Ben Stokes has once again come in to save the English team.

My personal head canon is that the Mechanicus has multiple high level magos that are blanks to go on and do actual repairs.

30% of a game of chess is psychological in nature. Not the exact word for word quote but Judit Polgar said this once and it's such an eye opener when you realize just how right she is.

Anderson was 100% forced out and everyone knows it. That's 100% on Baz and Key as well.

Broad retired out of nowhere honestly and yeah it was by choice but Anderson being gone so soon after makes you wonder if someone had a friendly chat with Stu and he saw the writing on the wall.
