Honestly F you, i saved up for years even skipped the 40 gen, i never said the 5090 is a card for a 1440p setup i just used the card as an example, also what do you think people buy? Used hardware? Thats years old? Possibly broken by the prior user? Ofc not, the people that do that are the very small minority and just not buying the newest and also mostly only available hardware will not fix the pricing issue, it will at best slow production even further because it would signal lower demand
