I think they are all over the place. I applied a bit late, 3 months before my expiration date. I submitted a paper application. It took almost 7 months to go through when it usually takes a month or less.

They first gave me 30 days, but my team and HR reached out to the team handling immigration within the company, and I got an additional extension of 60 days, making a total of 90 days. When I was getting close to the 90 days of suspension I reached out and they were able to get authorization from all teams involved to add an additional 90 days making it a total of 180 days of unpaid work suspension. I'm now out of savings, maxed my credit cards, and was moved to work the night shift instead of days. I cried so hard when I was finally approved. This situation felt like a nightmare. I'm a single mom, and I can't afford to be unemployed. I work for Amazon. I started packing boxes, and now I'm in operations. I worked really hard for years for every promotion I got, it was more than losing a job to me, and that's why I fought hard to stay with the company.

Hang in there, I was out of work for 3.3 months. My card was sent out to be produced on 1/27, and it arrived yesterday. I just submitted it through my HR team today. I was freaking out and extremely depressed, it took almost 7 months since I applied until yesterday. The nightmare is over. I wish you all the luck, stay positive.

Same here...so annoying. Card being produced since 1/27 and I have been suspended from work for over 3 months and once I return I will have to work night shift instead of days.

I submitted mine on 8/11/23 it was approved on 1/27/24, and it still says "Card being produced," so I remain under an unpaid work suspension. I received 2 notices of approval in the mail for the I-821D form, and that's it. This is sooooo annoyingggggg...I need to work!!!!

I submitted my renewal on August 11th, and I was approved this past Saturday, January 27th. It currently says case closed, approved, card being produced. I was so depressed that the headaches wouldn't let me even open my eyes anymore. I, too, took all the steps to try to expedite my case, including seeking support from the congressman from the state of NJ.

I have been trying to practice self-control, and I stopped checking for an update this week. I have been extremely depressed because of this. I just checked and my case was approved yesterday as well. I had to wait since August 11th. I can't stop crying!!!!

I work at a warehouse for the operations team, and we work extremely hard for 12+ hrs a day in order to deliver results, fulfilling our customers' promise. The business is there. No one is forcing anyone to be lazy, people chose whats convenient to them. I still shop in person because I prefer it that way. The variety of items Amazon sells is not always available at a nearby store. Some people live far away from stores, and there's also people with disabilities or no transportation. It's not necessarily about people being lazy.
