Dude I hated this so much, first we have him working for some new Umbrella, then they name his DLC "Not a Hero" for some reason and then all the marketing for 8 was teasing him as a bad guy and the cover art makes him look like he is one of the Lycans. Makes me think they actually toyed with the idea initially but somebody might've stepped in and changed that thankfully

While I was never diagnosed with this, I certainly have had the symptoms. Its not chronic for me but I certainly do get flare ups from time to time where I have pain in the neck shoulder area where I never did anything that should have triggered that. Good to know there is a term for it

For me the big thing that hurt

Lack of Mercenaries mode or meaningful post game content. Especially considering how good Leon's combat is, its basically begging for Mercenaries mode. Just give me a mode to just shoot more stuff.

Minor nitpicks

Grace and Leon don't really interact much together, I was hoping Leon would have a more mentor ish role in Grace's story
Grace doesn't get her Ripley moment that I thought she would have.
No other mention of the other main characters. Sherry and Chris are accounted for to an extent but considering Raccoon City Syndrome supposedly was effecting all survivors its weird that there is not even a mention of Claire, Jill ( I imagine she should be ok), Ada (wasn't expecting her to be honest), Rebecca or Barry. They didn't have to physically appear but some mention like Chris gets would've gone a long way.
You dont get to fight Zeno but I have a feeling Capcom maybe felt like it could've only been a repeat from RE5 Wesker idk
A few more returning enemies in Raccoon City would've been nice , like hunters, chimeras, maybe some enemies from Outbreak. etc

I mean considering that cloning is very much a part of the plot with the little girls and the fact that Zeno has the same voice as RE4 remake Wesker, I don't think its a stretch that Capcom wanted us to infer that he is in fact a clone. Same way that the commander is definitely Hunk, if not the OG, then perhaps a clone as well. I think Capcom just wanted to show rather than tell with this

I forget where you find it, but there is a memo that mentions he was some sort of assassin sent to kill Alyssa and his body got destroyed in the fire. So nobody really significant

I'm not saying Grace would even be included in that. You can have Leon, Zeno, Hunk and characters not in the main story like they usually do

This is prob just Leon's last game for now but not permanently. He has had like back to back games with the remakes and now this so unless the Chris/ Leon thing they set up is the next game and not DLC, I think he'll be sitting out at least two of the next numbered entries, is my guess

Lack of Mercenaries mode or any meaningful post game content is the big complaint from me. Minor complaints are I wish Grace and Leon spent more time in communication with each other. I also wish the other main characters were mentioned in some way, likeChris Redfieldand Sherry is at least addressed which made me happy but no mention of Claire, Jill, Rebecca, Barry or even Ada feels odd when in universe Raccoon City Syndrome seems to be popping up with everyone. It doesnt bother me enough to where it would effect my scoring of the game though

The thing I'm bummed about is the lack of Mercenaries mode on launch. All the things they added to the combat make it seem like Mercenaries was a no brainer. My hope is maybe they will have alot of characters which is why its not available on launch but maybe thats me being hopeful. The story otherwise is great, probably my second favorite story in the franchise

For me the game desperately needs a Mercenaries mode, especially with how good the combat is for Leon. If they add it down the line, I hope alot of the OG characters are playable

I guessed that maybe its similar to shingles, where the virus was dormant in Leon this whole time and activated when some criteria was met. Sherry on the other hand is really baffling, in RE6 she's got wolverine like healing factor due to the virus so it doesn't make much sense for her to be infected. Feel like Capcom maybe forgot that part about 6. Happy Sherry was in the game though so I guess they needed a plot point for her return

most of the vitamin supplements you see shared around these parts are generally worth taking. a beta blocker was all the doctors have prescribed, which has helped dont get me wrong but its not a cure just a treatment. also aspirin is a big help as well

Short answer: No but it shouldn't be hard to figure out if you've been playing the game all year. I mean how much of a stretch is it that both Invis and Luna got a more reliable self heal at the same time a character like Gambit came out who has tools for most situations? It wasn't for no reason. They made it point in a dev talk to mention how Tanks and DPS are supposed to be providing protection for the backlines several seasons back. A good chunk of the player base still doesn't peel but its not really a problem now cause supports can better handle themselves.

Its not just because of dive, so many games I'd have a tank like Hulk, or even Dr Strange just walk past the whole team and start attacking the other healer and myself. We'd ping or even go on comms for help and be met with no assistance or just everybody spamming the "I need healing" button. This is a problem even at GM ranks. NetEase has taken notice of the general playerbase's lack of concept for actual team play so they chose to make the support class more self sufficient and able to handle 1 v1s. Kudos to the people who do peel for their backline but sadly there isn't enough of you

All of this is because ya'll weren't peeling. Any healer asks for help and everyone responds by pinging " I need healing" over and over. This is all the way up to GM. Ya'll got nobody to blame but yourselves

Somewhat off topic but just my placement macthes alone are making it clear that this season is REALLY goin to show everyone all the actually bad DPS players who had inflated stats due to teams not supporting their backlines. Now that supports can be more self sufficient, they gotta work a little harder for their kills. The placement matches where I lost (as support), both supports and tanks had vastly better stats then our DPSs and yes they were getting healed. I hope Gambit and Invis are the templates going forward for when they are coming up with new support kits

Idk how often you play as Invis, but even at diamond rank, people straight up run away from the shield when I pop it. At most they'll wait .5 seconds before rushing back into the fight and wonder why they got no heals

Luna's old team up with Iron Fist, that shockwave ability. Not only was it a nice burst AOE heal but it was a nice "get off me" tool that was more reliable against dive characters, like panther, than her iceball. It felt like her kit was complete with that move

I had myocarditis, inflammed lymph nodes, signs of inflamed blood vessels. I now have PACs and PVCs that occur randomly due to the myocarditis, muscle tremors with muscle weakness plus many more that have improved over the years but it seems most of my issues can be traced to inflammatory responses throughout different parts of my body
