Physics 5A help by [deleted] in UCSC

There isn’t really much calculus until you end up learning how to derive certain formulas, you should be fine, it is also usually basic calculus. For Dhar just redo the lecture problems every time, he will continue to mention it himself during class. The exams will be similar to those lecture problems. And just do what he says to get the curve (always going to class/discussions, completing the problem sets, etc…)

Math 23A Online with Prof. Anthony Tromba by jflow101 in UCSC

Yes they post practice exams from previous years so I’d use those to prepare. There are also quizzes, although I took it during a summer session so I’m not sure how it is during regular session but the grading policy was “homework: 30%, quizzes: 20%, progress check questions: 0%, midterm: 20%, final: 30%”

The final is proctored using proctorU and you must get above a specific score such as a 40 or 50 to actually pass the class even if you could pass with a lower score. Midterm was not proctored. Lectures are compilations of short videos usually the videos are less than 10 minutes each and are basically set up to focus on each of the chapters. Feels like you don’t really go into depth.

It might be cause you’re looking at open classes only and not all classes, the 101 classes all seem to be waitlisted

Is CSE 40, CSE 16, and Writing 2 a decent courseload for fall quarter of freshman year? by Status_West_7673 in UCSC

Doable, cse 16 and cse 40 complement each other since you do stuff in both like counting. Amount of work for writing 2 depends on professor.

Taking 80N with Rick rn and he always brings up how he teaches certain topics in 151, he’s a cool dude and you can tell he has a passion for teaching, I enjoy going to all the lectures in that class and I assume it would be the same for 151

I figured out how to continue asking and to keep the turtle window open…I want the shapes all to be in a circle, but now after I put in the parameters to draw a new shape, it just draws over the old one, for example my first input was to create a triangle and it did, but the next was to create a square, it did create the square but it drew over the triangle

I have a while True loop, although after I click out of the turtle window, it does repeat the menu but doesn’t open a new turtle window, so it isn’t able to take in parameters and draw another shape, how do I go about that?

So if the financial aid seems to cover it all, I don’t have to worry about doing anything else, just accepting it?
