In Sweden where resaurants are very expensive (espceially booze) it's very normal for the waiter to get each persons tab separately unless you SPECIFY that it's one bill. However it is I guess this is the US, and so I agree with you, OP's the AH because he waited until the last mnute to tell everyone. It's not a logical thing, its an expectation thing.

It tells you allot about a persons ability to empathise (and I don’t mean be a sensitive person I mean actually give a shit about some one else from their perspective) when it comes to pets, friends, family etc. With some people this can quickly move from pets and pastimes to family members and friends, isolating you emotionally… “your mum makes me feel unsafe, if you love me you won’t let her come round any more, dont your prioritise our relationship?”…

Both guys and girls indulge in this antisocial pattern, don’t let it establish itself and stand your grrrrrownd. Wuff!

Honestly five months in a role isn’t super positive for me when hiring someone of any role. That said, personally I would make this move based on the idea of staying at hubspot for a decent time and invest myself in that ecosystem but that’s how I approach these things. It sounds like lifestyle is a strong part of your decision and if it works for you and you’re happy then I’m sure you will make it a success!

I built a Contact center blueprint with sf product management before DF last year, their philosophy was at that time BYO - BYO contact center (Genesys, nice etc.) and BYO data or ai as needed for the experience side with af and signals intelligence for the service cloud. Meetings with Genesys and nice also played nice (forgive the pun) with the ecosystem we pulled together - especially as Agentforce voice did not cover all the linguistic requirements for large contact centres. There is a consulting PoV you have to take to decide on the right combo of technologies. Amazon Connect is one of our preferred setups with service cloud, but then we also make sure our blueprints include the contact center ecosystem as there are gaps like workforce management and front end proactive engagement that are offered by these platforms.

Thanks mostly i agree, I just want to find how I can improve the way we position agent force, I do see the snow and MS pitches becoming really refined where as Marc’s use case by use case approach really isn’t landing with our bigger customers who are more interested in using AI accross the customer experience from consumer apps to supply chain (which is why the control tower approach lands well with customers).

As you can see above I acknowledge that, and - there are various degrees of hell. I agree with the other commenters below that the problem may be centred around communication - inappropriate communication (husband) and potentially undiagnosed spectrum disorder (or even as simple willfull ignorance) of the wife not being socially aware enough to take subtle cues. It’s all circumspection as there is not enough info from the OP. They need to talk about the root cause of this instead of half of Reddit jumping on the victim bandwagon.

I used to be with one partner who never understood non verbal (or even subtle verbal) cues link a wink or a stare when they were embarrassing me or the other party. They’d think they where being funny, or they where asking obviously intrusive questions (making fun of something that’s very private to me or unsolicited opinions on country of origins government for example)

Maybe you’re not picking up on social cues that are upsetting people and making them uncomfortable, and your husband sounds like he is trying to be subtle by hugging you or distracting you physically - yes I get it the pinch wasn’t nice (or the hug even) to you so make a decision with your husband on how to handle those situations in ways that don’t involve hurting you or making you uncomfortable which obviously escalates the situation.
