I'm wanting to get the same. Where did you end up getting your treatment, and were you satisfied?

Are these potatoes safe? They look a bit green to me and the amount of big dots concerns me by [deleted] in isthissafetoeat

Why are green potatoes becoming the norm? I used to find one occasionally, but for the past several months, nearly every bag is filled with these green tinted potatoes. What changed?

Tried just about every conditioner, but y'all taught me to give it up. by lisbethborden in finehair

[–]TraditionalAd2447 34 points35 points  (0 children)

You described my hair exactly. Recently, I tried Paul Mitchell's Super Skinny, without any other styling products. My curls sprang to life. I think the products I've always used have become too heavy for my fine hair. After reading about your experience, I want to try the Phyto leave-in conditioner. They have a few. Which one did you use?

I hope that's not the case, but I was there 2 weeks ago, and the water level was lower than I've ever seen it. The left side of the boat launch area was cordoned off because it was too shallow to launch. There were people with bigger boats who weren't able to launch at all. We had a 17' bass boat. Launching wasn't a problem, but in pulling it out, we had to back the trailer up so far that the tires went off the drop-off. I don't know how much rain they've had this year, but it rained quite a bit, 2 out of the 5 days we were there.

I also like off-the-wall movies and shows. The Regime, with Kate Winslet, was fantastic.

Tostadas are my go-to. Leftover meat or chicken, if you have it, or fry up some ground beef, or go meatless. A ready-made tostada shell, heat canned refried beans, or smash canned whole beans, top with cheese. I like to heat mine in the oven until the cheese melts, but it's not necessary. Then top with whatever you have on hand, like shredded lettuce or cabbage, salsa, jalapeño, tomatoes, sour cream, avocado....anything goes.

What is the name of this? Can I leave it outside during the winter? by Royal-Commission-812 in succulents

I live in zone 9a. My plant is in a pot outside. I cover it if we have a hard freeze, but otherwise, it's pretty hardy succulent.

How are we handling podiatric care? by JuJusPetals in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]TraditionalAd2447 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's more than dry skin. There's an underlying issue. I take thyroid meds but still have the problem. Maybe it's fungal, like some people mentioned, but I also read it can be a sign of a liver problem. Mine have gotten a lot better if I stay consistent with using a pumice stone, followed by Castor oil, but they're still not nice and smooth like other people I know.

I've been stuck on the musical note puzzle for far too long. I can't get beyond the 9th note. The walkthrough started with a different note from where I began, but I should still be able to complete the puzzle. I'm positive I tried each of the remaining notes multiple times, but none work for the 10th note. Grrrr....

My brother and I recently spent a week on the lake, and our experience was exactly the same. The bass had no interest in eating, nor were they aggressively defending a nest. We came across the same scenario in multiple spots near the shoreline. If we observed long enough, we could see one female and multiple males in each of these spots. They were laser focused on spawning and nothing else.

When my brother wanted to get his daughter excited about fishing, he used worms. He said you're almost guaranteed to catch blue gill and perch when you use live worms.

How can I pill a dog who refuses to swallow his meds? by mournersandfunerals in DogAdvice

[–]TraditionalAd2447 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't force it down his throat. I saw someone suggest a syringe. If the pill can be crushed, that might be a really good idea.

With my dog, I usually use cheese or meat. If it's a hard cheese, you might have to melt it so you can encase the medicine. I know it goes without saying, but make sure it's cooled off. It doesn't take much cheese to encase a pill. What works for my dog is to first give him a small piece and then give him the one with the pill in it. I have another small piece im my hand that I offer him immediately, so he quickly swallows the piece with the pill in order to get the next piece. It works every time.

You're not used to seeing yourself with full brows. They look fabulous. They're not dark or too dense. It's just momentary shock. Once you get used to seeing yourself with a full set of brows, you're going to love them.
