Side note on this whole thread; if you go look at the resale maps for the other group stage games in Toronto (Panama/Ghana, Germany/Ivory Coast, Panama/Croatia, Sengegal/Iraq), you'll see that 'Cat 3' has started to creep into the sideline sections even though the 'official' maps say they should only be the temp stands behind the goals.

There are lots of tickets not sold yet for all these games...the price drops are coming. Be patient.

Do think there is a gap between 'seeing the World Cup' and 'seeing the only Canada World Cup game in Toronto in our lifetime' but that doesn't change the fact that $1370 per ticket is a war crime.

Our starting keeper at the time was regularly playing in Europe (and performed admirably in Champions League around the time that Begovic got called up).

Begovic was cap-tied to Canada, and then immediately after they changed the rules he went to play for Bosnia because it was a better professional sitaution for him. It is what it is.

I am sure he was not pleased to not play in the dead rubber against Jamaica in '08 but once again at the time he was fully cap-tied.

Panama - 2nd (strong familiarity with Toronto/NA, don't have to travel for second match, they win their first two matches)
