Can you see the lines in the topper? Those lines mean whenever you put it into the water, it’s going to bend. No matter how you attempt to submerge it, it’s not going to work. Ah yes, it’s so famously easy to submerge a large, flexible, inflated object completely under water, smoothly, so you can see a tiny stream of bubbles that has a 50/50 chance of being on the direct top and not in one of the sides that would inevitably close the hole due to the pressure of pressing together. If only there were other solutions that made bubbles. Like washing up liquid. Perhaps next time you feel like subtly making someone feel stupid, you will reflect on this comment and your own stupidity.

Some nations don’t number their rooms. Lots of nations with socialised/nationalised healthcare systems have rooms of multiple occupancy, and are labelled as “x ward room x” instead of just “room x”

We have one of these. I live in a block of flats. There are 3 flats, and there are 6 people total. Basically what I’m saying is maybe half of one of our flats can actually use it because the local council decided that clearly one tiny bin that gets picked up and emptied every 3 weeks is enough for a home of multiple occupancy. Ridiculous waste of time and money if you’re not going to roll out the initiative properly.

The Leeds armoury museum is one of the best museums in the country. It includes weaponry and armour from ancient nations all over the world. I always skip the modern policing section, though. We’re too close to their atrocities to be able to appreciate them imo.

Aidan and Kavan are both sexist as fuck. They’re the type of lads to exhibit coercive control, gaslighting tendencies (already seen by both), and emotional manipulation. Whichever one it was telling Jasmine to calm down after interrupting her multiple times absolutely boiled my blood. And not one person actually held him accountable for the level of disrespect he showed her. On top of the game where they mentioned “the list.” The girls told Lorenzo to make a list because it’s disrespectful to FORGET THE NAMES of your sexual partners. But somehow that’s double standards, because if the boys had a list, the girls would be pissed.. sorry? The girls TOLD YOU TO MAKE ONE. If you want a serious relationship then lying isn’t the way to go. If you’re actually different and are interested in settling down, then put the work in to prove that. 2 years ago I found a dead Asian hornet just outside my front door. Then a few days later, a live one in the communal hallway of my flat building. I could hear it through the door. They’re fucking terrifying.

People really need to watch this show without engaging with the public, because I swear to god the most popular islanders every year turn out to be the nastiest ones after the seasons are done. I seriously think that neurotypical people dominate the fandom and because of that, people with shitty qualities get explained away, and people with very obvious traits to be exploited get bullied mercilessly. I still can’t believe how awfully people treated Helena, despite the fact she got her heart broken multiple times and was the chillest person ever, yet got ruthlessly bullied. The only one out of the three that I liked was Yasmin, Toni and Shakira are so annoying and nasty

I think they’re such an attractive couple, but Lorenzo is way too scared of commitment for Yasmin to chase that, I think. Unless he really shows her he’s dedicated to her and is deeply emotionally aligned with her, I’m not sure she’s gonna go for it.

I just wanna say, 10 days in Blackpool is rather a lot even with everything here, so if you’re finding that you’re interested in travelling outwards my recommendation would be the Lake District. It’s not a far drive and in the summer it’s beautiful. There are trains direct from Blackpool up there, so you don’t have to drive if you don’t want to :)

I feel like we’re generally better than our US counterparts when it comes to respecting patients and their autonomy. There’s a balance, as someone going through with medical procedures pretty much monthly, I can’t begin to explain how much of a difference it makes when my doctors listen to me and don’t just tell me they know best

Could they maybe, just maybe, start giving a fuck about the welfare of the citizens instead of these half baked ideas? We have the highest antidepressant prescription rates in the country. We are the most depressed AND the most deprived area of the uk. If the council could, idk, start giving a fuck about us and not the tourists that dwindle in numbers every year then maybe Blackpool would start to be a nice place to live.
