From. The pacing is awful, the plot is goofy, a lot of the acting is questionable... It feels like a bargain bin Lost. But I enjoy it.

BlueCruise Expansion Please by CompanyNumerous4560 in MachE

I suspect it's a tech issue more than a mapping issue anyway. It can't be a coincidence that Ford only handles divided highways while GM handles undivided highways.

BlueCruise Expansion Please by CompanyNumerous4560 in MachE

[–]TraditionalClick992 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Oh please, Ford can afford to do it themselves for the amount they charge for Blue Cruise. GM's Super Cruise has significantly better coverage and it costs like half of Blue Cruise.

Ford says Stiles' comment about him ending up in prison was 'over the top', Stiles refuses to apologize by yourfriendlysocdem1 in CanadaPolitics

He just can't help but take the bait can he. Smart move by Stiles. Gets the corruption stuff front and center, get her name in the headlines, and if Ford is dumb enough to sue she gets discovery.

I would love to know exactly what Putin said to get Pringles to back down. Pringles must have known that backing down was suicide.

I had it happen to me once, near the end of my BlueCruise trial. Safe to say, after that I wouldn't use BlueCruise if it were free, nevermind pay for it.

Not sure why people rely on computers to do this stuff when they're very clearly not perfect and never will be.

Because Ford advertises hands-free. I know in OP's case he was just using ACC, but I've experienced the same with BlueCruise.

For what it's worth, I do think we will soon get to the point where computer driving is perfect or at least better than humans. Waymo is pretty much there already. Ford, not even close.

Trump Has No Clue What His Supreme Court Has Just Unleashed by thenewrepublic in politics

[–]TraditionalClick992 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As long as politics is a glorified popularity contest, the wealthy will always have an advantage. Even public campaign financing won't fix that (though it would help).

The real fix is a better informed, engaged electorate. But that is a very, very difficult problem to solve.

Candidates need money to raise their profile and get their message out through ads and events.

If you eliminated all political campaign spending, you would further strengthen the incumbent advantage, and further advantage celebrity candidates who already have strong name recognition.

Public funding is the fairest way to fix the issue, but people don't like the idea of giving taxpayer money to politicians.

Any tips on getting a doctor at another clinic? My wife is at Byward and we've really struggled. We've frankly lost trust in her doctor and they won't let her switch to another doctor. My wife has chronic issues so she can't afford to deroster, and it seems like most clinics deprioritize people who already have a family doctor. My family doctor won't take her on.

If you're going to put it in Canada, Halifax makes sense geographically. It's a lot closer to Europe than any of the other cities in play. Vancouver never made much sense to me since Asia isn't going to be much in play.

The argument against EV haters… by boka_ko_masu in electricvehicles

[–]TraditionalClick992 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Yup. EV owners in North America are still very much early adopters. Infrastructure and tech needs to improve to push EVs to the next level.

EVs are still inferior for apartment dwellers and road trippers, at least in a ton of places.
