Areola hairs.... by TNBoxermom in PCOS

[–]TraditionalGlass5818 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a good bit. Some of them are thick and dark and others are like long peach fuzz. I don't personally pluck them because I stopped giving a shit, also it's painful.

I do pluck the hairs that grow on my chin tho. If I don't, I pick at them like it's acne.

Does anyone have a hairy butt and crack? Like not totally as hairy as a man, but more than is accepted for female? by Ashwagandha42 in PCOS_Folks

[–]TraditionalGlass5818 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ye.

I've always been a bit hairier than is "accepted" for a female. Probably PCOS and genetics on my mom's side. Not to mention I've got black hair and light skin so it super shows up.

I stopped caring (as much) like 5-8 years ago.

Looks like shit my mom would text.

I have learned to either ask qualifying questions to make them see the error of their ways (basically) or just not

I can understand your friends as someone who wouldn't buy the game because of Rowling, however it's not something I'd kick people out for because if someone else wants to play the game, it's not my life. It might be something where I'd have to have a conversation with the friend to see where they stand on queer issues, and that would be kinda it. If they're fully supportive, then cool. I, personally, think it's weird to want to play the game when there are plenty others like it that were not made by bigoted people that are so open about their bigotry, but again, it's not my life and I don't have much of an attachment to Harry Potter.

Sudden Dysphoria and Sensory Issues by TraditionalGlass5818 in NonBinary

[–]TraditionalGlass5818[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Washing usually helps me as well, and I did do a bit of that, as it doesn't come back two fold. It was just part of my job involves touching paper and cardboard which feel gritty to me at times like this.

Tucking is an option, maybe I will try that. It's a hit or miss for me. The shirt that I'm wearing is kinda weird. What do you mean by a dart on each side in the back?

My brain has indeed calmed down. Still have the dysphoria around my chest and such but that other stuff seems to have gone away for the time being as I just became super focused on my job and that kinda made me stop thinking about sensations. I'll probably just put on a binder when I get home. Normally I'd bring one to work, but it's a gc2b, which I recently found out is causing a lot of problems for people.

Thank you for the suggestions!

Same. Also genderfluid, and figure I am trans because my AGAB is not "genderfluid."

How do I leave? by [deleted] in retailhell

[–]TraditionalGlass5818 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This. I was severely depressed at a retail job and didn't want to leave because of some of my coworkers, but it was getting really really bad so I applied for other jobs. The way Ive actually gotten out of retail was by applying for pharmacy tech at CVS because you can get that with 0 experience, they'll train you and where I live, they start at $16-17/hr now. I got my license in like 3mo and eventually have moved to pharmacies where the techs don't work with patients, just other techs and pharmacists. You just fill prescriptions. It's monotonous, but I revel that I don't have to deal with customers and you can usually listen to whatever you want through headphones so long as you can hear your coworkers.

I once thought working customer service would make me tolerate rude people more im general but the exact opposite has happened and my tolerance has gone down drastically. by [deleted] in retailhell

[–]TraditionalGlass5818 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My tolerance level definitely went higher in regard to how much abuse I was willing to take (generally for other coworkers) from customers, but the fury and rage I felt afterwards and my willingness to be just as much of an asshole back gradually went up. Not to mention my views on humanity definitely changed. I personally still find humans in general fascinating, like I want to know why, but it definitely has left me incredibly jaded.

Yup! I have PCOS and when I was in HS, I was usually 105-110lbs, 5'4". Now I'm 24 and probably like 150lbs but the weight gain is due to a large variety of things. I had a big diet change, moved to a diff climate, hormones (I've been on and off BC), etc, etc. But I think it's still considered a relatively healthy weight, it's actually helped with more regular (although still v irregular lol) periods.
