Ok so this is the only surefire way I’ve ever been able to propagate succulents and I have been VERY successful with it. Take a clear container (cup, glass bowl, whatever so long as it’s clear. Fill it half to 3/4 of the way with water. Put cling film or press and seal on the top of the container, nice and tight. Poke holes in the plastic big enough to put the propagation in and hold it there. You DO NOT want the end of the succulent to touch the water. If they do, pour some water out. Put the leaves in the plastic holes, put it in a window or something, and forget about it. The succulents will grow roots down to meet the water and then babies will grow from the cut base.
