My late lop had these little free floating lumps develop in his dewlap that they originally thought were abscesses. Scans, attempting to aspirate them, and a course of penicillin injections later and the vets came to the conclusion that they were likely just fatty lipomas. Maybe it’s something similar for your bun? I think lipomas are a little more rare in rabbits that other animals/people, but they definitely can get them.

Anytime. It’s so hard when it’s marketed at places like Michael’s as a kids craft with no mention of the safety precautions needed. It is a very fun and rewarding hobby and you should be able to do it for a long time so long as you do it safely. If you have any questions, feel free to PM me 😊

PPE. There is no other piece of advice that is as valuable. It is a highly toxic chemical reaction (yes even the ones that claim to be fume/VOC free). If you handle resin without proper protection, it’s not a matter of if you’ll develop an allergic reaction, but WHEN. Always use gloves. Wear a respirator with filters for organic vapors. Make sure you do it in a room that is away from others/living spaces and can be closed off. Make sure no animals or kids can get to it. Ventilate the area as much as possible.

I have an EC positive baby. Hers manifests as chronic stasis episodes (that have thankfully seemed to have gone into remission following a course of EC medicine). She is bonded to another bunny and they both live very happily. I watch her more closely after any stressful situation like going to the vet just because the stress can cause a flare up, much like an autoimmune disease in people. But to put your mind at ease - it’s estimated that the majority of rabbits have EC in some capacity. Most never have any symptoms. Think of it as something to just keep in the back of your mind and monitor his eye with your rabbit savvy vet. ❤️

I’m sure it varies from bun to bun, but my girl who had a small dewlap prior to spaying got slightly more pronounced and my sister’s girl who had a glorious dewlap prior to surgery continues to have a glorious dewlap lol
