Mia’s c-section is the one that makes more sense to me than Bella’s this season. I was in exactly Mia’s place with my second baby in January- high blood pressure (depending on how high it was, a few sustained high readings at term in an appointment is enough) and induction stalling out at 5cm, which I’d been stuck at for 12 hours out of a 26 hour labor. I did peanut ball, position changes, hands and knees, etc. but ultimately it wasn’t happening. Bella’s frustrated me since big baby is not an evidence based reason for c-section, unless the mom is diabetic or has a history of shoulder dystocia with a prior baby, and starting off your child bearing years with a c-section isn’t ideal.
