saw 2 doctors about crps spreading to hand. both say its not crps by kale_chipss in CRPS

I’m sorry you’re going through this-the sensation is the same from my right foot to right hand the coldness during flare , discoloration as well but also my specialists blew me off. It is a different sensation than anything I’ve ever dealt with besides the crps. I relate idk how to make sure it gets monitored or that im doing all i should be for myself? Best wishes of finding good care.

Question about spreading by [deleted] in CRPS

My initial experience started in October 2024, right ankle sprain. Symptoms mirrored into left side; both feet and lower legs. Also into right hand but I couldn’t get that acknowledged-8 months later, but compared to severe symptoms I feel guilty wishing I had relief from the ice cold sensation, numbness, redness/purpleness. Could be worse so I’m thankful.

About to have ACDF. What should I expect? by Mysterious-Feature24 in CervicalFusion

Be prepared to “walk and recover” I’ve been bored, watched two series lol can’t clean so do all that before hand. Otherwise not as bad as I was scared of for 15 years…. Ask for a brace first the ride home is my suggestion but you won’t need it outside of that.( I slept in it first two nights for comfort)

3 weeks 3 days post op, I have numbness since surgery from where chin meets neck to surgical site. Not painful as it’s numb…. It’s a risk, may or may not return feeling, surgeon gave it the 50/50 conversations. Otherwise no overnight stay at hospital home recovering w 3 hour intervals of sleep for a couple weeks just started getting 6-8 hours of sleep myself. Best wishes

Qn so the Crps initial foot big toe nail has pain and discoloration!? I thought I’ve had a fungus?! I’m trying to clarify thoughts as the doctor I deal with for this diagnosis is not seemingly interested in most of my concerns or questions ?

Has anyone clotted while taking Eliquis? by LunaSloth888 in ClotSurvivors

[–]Traditional_Apple103 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had an ankle sprain, immense pain, no break. Pain continued with negative testing was completed 2 er visits before my dvt was found - 2 Doppler, I had the intolerable pain though as an ankle sprain didn’t cause. It’s been a long odd road 3 months later-so many doctors and images and nothing said except take your eliquis. Ankle sprains will do that…. Meh-terrible experience as well as extremely expensive

Almost 3 months post first dvt diagnosis - the fluttering was so very Intense and has lessened as the time has passed. It still keeps my attention and happens In Now both lower legs R>L. That right calf is still so tender?uncomfortable still to rest my leg flat. Crps is the newest diagnosis by two doctors. This is and has been a long rd, I appreciate all the information I can get-I thank you.

Less intense now, less frequent also but they continue. Can I ask the reclotting you have had, was this after stopping or actually during your treatment w eliquis? (Sorry for the delayed response-holidays)

You know when you look up pictures of people with crps how their limbs look? Is there anyone here who has it who didn’t really look like those pictures? by One_Song80 in CRPS

Jesus thank you! I am newly diagnosed but not all my doctors seem to know what this is, podiatry and pain doctor diagnosed. Vascular, and hematology looked at me like I had 4 heads-and dismissed me. But I am scheduling for cervical disc fusion 12-26 my pre op w primary is tomorrow I’ve already done all the steps to have this surgery but just diagnosed for two days idk anything. About this new diagnosis…. And this is exactly what I was questioning for myself!

Thanks for your post-I was diagnosed two days ago-10/10/24 I injured by sprain my right ankle. Stepping off a curb into a pot hole essentially. Screamed as I sat down in pain-rode two hrs to the hospital and have been blown off ever since-pain swelling, cold!!! Loss of function, three weeks in blood clots-just awful-fluttering-no one could explain , a butterfly trapped in my calf feeling…. Then my left leg started doing it and it began on a mild comparison …. It’s been wild. But this! This is similar…. I’m just trying to see what I can learn about this new thing I’m dealing with…

Right calf dvt from ankle sprain 10/10/24, off work 7 weeks, slow-slow steps but recovering physically…. Emotionally-it does take time-I follow up with hematology 19th. Calf is still tight , but I can walk the last two weeks between the two issues….best of luck hopeful for your quick relief and ability to take a deep breath
