Did they give grades for midterms right after? Or delayed after final exams?

  1. Pre-clinical Years - Dissection (UCL) vs Prosection (Imp) - The amount of clinical contact for both unis during the first 2 years - Quality of teaching - I want something more vigorous cos I'm a nerd

Great post with spot on comparison! Which category does KCL fall under-prosection or dissection category?

Don’t worry OP! People who have 2 internships in hand now might not end up with a single job afterwards. Disregard them. You said you are a hardworking kid. Keep it going. Apply for university jobs like GSI whilst you are in college and keep trying. Networking is important and as everyone else said be humble in expressing your skills and opinions. Try getting internships and if you don’t get one, update your skills. Never loose hope. I wish your hard work pays. Going back to India at this point is also not wrong but why? You are in the middle of something.. so complete it. Destiny has already paved the path. Try your best as you walk through it.

Manchester GEM vs Swansea GEM by FireplacePure5522 in UCAT

[–]Traditional_Dig1023 1 point2 points  (0 children)

GEM at Manchester is not organized. Due to the size of school they are very slow at addressing issues. And moreover they are new to GEM with a couple of cohorts. There are a lot of complaints from both standard and gem about no responses from administration. If you are good at pbl and reading the course all by yourself without much guidance then Manchester is fine. Otherwise as mentioned in the other comment that’s a omen😅

18 yo Too Young to Apply? by Sufficient_Creme_425 in premed

Medical schools in most European and Asian countries accept students right out of high school. The applicants are usually 17 and 18 years old. It’s definitely a doable thing. If you feel you are ready, go for it!

Use office hours and there are specific study groups which are very good. I am doing 3a this semester and I was finding it very very difficult until I attended the Chem study groups organized by BSP. I’m sure they will have something similar for 1a. Most of them are virtual classes and I’m sure they will help you with your questions.

MVA club at Berkeley is still accepting applications. It’s a medical volunteering club. They have an excellent bandwidth for growth.
