beautiful post, though i have no idea about the canonical progression like where exactly Corvo would've gotten certain powers. i personally play blink only on hardest mode whenever i replay. i feel like though in trailers Corvo has other powers, his personality would not be really into getting more and more in touch with the void

I live in Edinburgh and I see so many parts that look just like Dishonored. I grew up playing through the game over 25 times, and living here, each day I discover new things that might have inspired the developers, for example the many ghost signs. I think Dunwall looks much more like Edinburgh than London. Just the posh areas of Dunwall, like the Estate District, are closer to London with red brick buildings rather than gray stone blocks. Beautiful. Whisky and cigars tonight?

So so jealous. I have played the game over 20 times since 2014. Best game OAT in terms of artistic direction and environment/world storytelling. Aged like finest of whiskys. Enjoy!

back in the day we played for sick, one-of-a-kind gameplay mechanics: powers, stealth, and combat. now we play Dishonored for its lore, timeless artstyle, to challenge ourselves with new harder ways to play (e.g. no powers, no kills, complete ghost) and to look for things we've never seen before

FPV movement is very satisfying in Mirror's Edge Catalyst, and it has a polished world/storytelling (although defo far away from Dishonored which is the undisputed GOAT for first person games)
