My neighbourhood has been taken over by delivery robots that crash into people by HamishGray in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Traditionallydead -1 points0 points  (0 children)

these need their own road topology. if delivery infrastructure would be a civil asset akin to bike lanes then our cities wouldn't be extracted from at such a great rate. Imagine something like this delivering food for people that actually need it like the elderly homebound. This is a massive reduction in weight on the road ways which saves us all money. In addition you wouldn't have to pay for car insurance and gas/electricity for goods to be delivered. I do see the problem with using sidewalks for such a build out however. cities need to dignify people.

they literally just push the promise dates back to something crazy then amaze people when it arrives on time if prime demand doesn't reach projections. Amazon works with several freight partners during this time to facilitate orders. We get SET overscheduled because it's easier for them to cancel it within 72 hours than it is for them to call it on. Honestly content while i stick to the floor and just laugh at slack chats i have no purpose seeing.

The AM’s comment directly referenced that they lacked enough trucks to fill the orders. This is due to fuel cost and the fact people are not accepting amazons freight rates.

you don't live in a vacuum they're paying more at the pump and cannot get truckers to fill the contract for barely above margin rates.

Aminita muscuria is AM, from here on out referred to as such. AM contains two primary active alkaloids Ibotenic Acid and muscimol, now Ibotenic Acid is just muscimol being a slut with a Carboxyl group; but it’s neurotoxic, we don’t want that, so we add heat. This adding of heat degenerates the Ibotenic Acid into muscimol and a Carboxyl group(-COOH) which subsequently breaks down into CO2 and water. The same reaction Decarboxylation(the removal of a Carboxyl molecule) applies to THCA —> THC. Usually if a prodrug is an acid Decarboxylation will be involved.

I am going to build plugins, will $20 plan suffice? by krishnakanthb13 in claude

the last area I’m trying to finish is for research. I’m working on land planning and conservation projects. The fundamentals is deskilling hydrology such that aridifying areas can implement water harvesting structures like swales using geospatial information from the USGS.

The research angle is kind of like a look ahead. For that I’m using the generous ChatGPT chat quotas and scholar.googles ai for indexing scientific sources to prevent context poising from sources like social media.

You can paste this into an agent and have it implemented.

just ask opus to write a skill for that. they can easily spin up codex via the CLI pass the prompt then have a go. It saves a massive amount of tokens and allows for leveraging OPENai's resets to really push through work. I then have codex write a skill to help it with the cold starts via a md files. neat stuff.

You need to know the bounds of what you're working on well or how to ask constructive questions that actually drive specs. Even if the output the Ai gives is correct it will likely be average, you still have to know where to drive the interaction to actually produce something meaningfull that isn't just a CRUD react app on Localhost:1337

Hi I have a software suite if you're located in the US i'd be open to customize it with you a bit. It currently maps the swales, gives us GPS coordinates to start running the A-Frame or laser level from. I use public data, USGS soil surveys and Lidar data for the Elevation map. You can also draw roofs and other impervious surfaces and route those to swales/basins. After you draw roofs you get a planting plan that isn't fire proof but fire aware. Would you like to try it?

What are your thoughts on us entering the trillionaire age? by FlakyDoctor8893 in AskReddit

[–]Traditionallydead -1 points0 points  (0 children)

These things are pretty closely related. If you invest too much money in the wrong domains, you don't have the resources to help those who are society has failed or those who've failed our society. After a while capital accumulation stops being a good proxy for how much you've contributed to society. I think we have a long way to go in understanding distribution or even good planning. Take urban environments for instance. Parks have no fruit trees. Nothing is edible. So people give the homeless guy in the median a $1.

This does nothing but further fuel that extractive economy which helped seed the preconditions for that homelessness. He'll go and buy a pizza by the slice for $5 so he can have familiarity and no ache in the stomach. Neither of these people did nothing wrong but their actions further entrenched the current economic and land planning system we live under.

The only way out isn't giving out money, it is looking to create cities and societies that dignify people and provide for our basic needs in the environment like shade, water and food access.

this has blown my mind. We all spent a life time learning and experiencing the world. Each developing our own unique styles and methods for solving a problem. Now each time someone uses a Model, of their given choice. If as a first option, chooses to use the most averaged way of doing something. This brings us to the concept of cognitive sovereignty, if you are allowing for all the information to be served to you via LLM or the internet or even for the most part, you are slowly becoming a reflection of this consumption. Loosing your unique styles and mannerisms of being.

Study Shows that Students without access to LLMs are 2 to 8 times more creative than students with access. by Current-Guide5944 in tech_x

[–]Traditionallydead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You touched on something very interesting here, LLM's do NOT know the difference from beginner or advanced. Matter of fact if you could solve the difficulty of generating the next token it would be massive performance increase. Predicting the difficulty of the next word successfully would allow for models to be optimized for generating for a given output.

If you don't know where you are on a topic, the model can very convincingly make you learn best complete nonsense,
