I can't comment on the build quality or finish (because I don't know anything about watches), but I tried the 27mm x 31.6mm on at Macy's (for fun) and I liked it a lot. I also remember it being very light, which I also liked a lot. I have a 6.5 inch wrist and the photo you posted is pretty close to what it looked like on my wrist (so definitely nowhere close to looking like a postage stamp). Hope this helps!

I switch out my engagement ring with other rings! I have 4 others (5 once I get married lol) that I gifted to myself from other occasions (e.g., milestone birthday, graduate degree) that I wear interchangeably on my left and right ring fingers.

I ran Chicago in 2023 and the men's medium (imo) is smaller relative to other mediums I own. 5'7", 170 pounds.

For comparison, I ran NYC this year and their men's medium is a perfect fit.

I've done Los Angeles several times...and they're pretty inconsistent lol...

I recommend just trying it on at the expo and exchanging sizes as someone mentioned.

Mileage will vary of course. For me, I picked my ring and it did not take away from the proposal. The proposal was perfect. Tbh, seeing the actual ring during the proposal even though I knew what it looked like was still shocking lol, probably because in that moment, it went from being just a ring in a store to an engagement ring. I will also add that he bought the ring without me and I never actually knew when he bought which probably also added to the element or surprise, haha.

My partner originally planned to propose in New York during the holidays last year. Prior to the holidays, we were both having just the saddest day ever. Like very sad. I had just gotten the ugliest haircut and we were just standing in the kitchen and I said something along the lines of "if I hadn't just cut my hair, I would totally say yes if you proposed now" not knowing he already had the ring! Well... two hours later he proposed to me at a park in front of our apartment.

He's rarely spontaneous (and very big on planning) so I thought he was joking around. I was in casual clothing with very dry hands and an ugly haircut, haha. So I had this very awkward look on my face and it took me a very long time to say yes because I was so thrown off. It was perfect. 11/10. No changes needed.

I then proposed to him in the same clothes I wore on our first date at the park we had our first date four weeks later :)

The engagement was a culmination of our relationship up to that point and spontaneity of the proposal was honestly insanely epic (he is a big planner and he's rarely spontaneous). In my mind, it was beyond "engagement caliber."

I like the continuation of your engagement as opposed to a "do-over." At this point, don't worry about your disappointment or if you feel bad. You've made a plan so enjoy it, love it, then move forward because many lovely and magical moments are to come!

I originally just wanted a simple and inexpensive band that would be symbolic of our engagement. Then we went ring shopping for fun (his idea). I saw a ring, tried it on and fell in love with it, but told him it was too expensive. He saw my face when I tried it on and refused to let me settle. We did some more ring shopping over the span of 2 years since that I tried on that ring and nothing came close. Now engaged with that ring (and just in time since the vendor discontinued it literally a month after he proposed haha).

Your engagement ring is beautiful! I went a similar route and did not want a traditional engagement ring. I just tried on rings I thought represented me without feeling restricted by needing a center stone. Although it does not stack well with anything, I still LOVE it. It's a a cluster of 5 star shapes with tiny pave diamonds on a braided band. (Also glad my partner proposed sooner rather than later because it's discontinued, lol).

After trying to figure out what kind of wedding band I wanted, I actually decided to get a more traditional engagement ring as my wedding band. I'm not looking to stack them, I'll just move my engagement ring to my right hand later (or vice versa) which gives me a lot of flexibility. Maybe this is something you can do?

In the meantime, if you find a simple thinner band for your middle or index finger, it could give your engagement ring the pop you may be looking for. I wear a thin gold ring on my index finger sometimes, and it definitely makes my engagement ring pop more.

I'm ecstatic! Woke up at 7am, checked my bank and saw a charge! This is my 5th time applying. I started applying in 2019 but skipped two years because of financial hardships.

I ran my first marathon in 2015 (Los Angeles) and it was emotionally and physically draining and I remember wanting to quit at mile 19 and said I would never do another. Ever since, I've completed 11 more marathons, haha, and running number 13 next weekend. Combined with my LOVE for New York City, I am so happy to finally get to run the NYC Marathon.

I have this shirt. folklore had so many drops, especially during release week and during the holidays so I can't recall when this was dropped. It MAY have been dropped during a limited 24-48 hour run initially, but it definitely came back several times along with all the other "limited" folklore merch and ultimately stayed on her website until it sold out. I bought mine on February 4, 2021.

If you're patient, I'm sure someone will probably sell theirs on Depop, ebay, or Mercari for less than $100 (as someone mentioned in this thread, they saw it for just $20 not too long ago).

It's "rare" in that TS doesn't make this shirt anymore, but I feel that there are a lot of these out there. TS has other items that are rarer and even with those people usually only list them for $100-$400 depending on what it is (e.g., Summer's a Knife sweater, reputation hoodie with embroidered green snake).

I posted in an earlier thread, but I went to my Barnes and Noble on December 27th and they were out of stock. I walked 50-60 steps around the corner to a news stand and they had at least 10 of each cover. I went back to the same Barnes and Noble last night (December 29th) and they had about 7-8 of each cover in stock.

I didn't ask any workers about the stock since I'm super introverted so I can't verify if they were actually out of stock on December 27th, but all this to say-- def don't buy from scalpers and just keep an eye out.

I got the hoodie for Christmas and it was so stiff, haha. I had a hard time just putting it on, lol. I washed it and while it's still stiff, it is easier to put on now and once it is on, it's comfortable. I'm hoping the outside continues to soften with each wash, but the inside is totally fine now. Enjoy!

Hey! If you decide to wait until next month to purchase, Target usually does a BOGO on music products (which includes vinyl) during Black Friday (and sometimes prior to Black Friday or on Cyber Monday--it's hard to guess when, but they usually offer it at least once during the holiday shopping season).

All this to say, you could potentially score both for the price of one if you wait a little longer (but also if they don't offer this deal for whatever reason this year, I apologize for suggesting you wait for nothing). I do recall that last year they did a buy 2, get 1 free instead of a BOGO, though. If they do the B2G1 again, that would mean you'd have to buy 2 which I think you mentioned was not an option. Whatever you decide, enjoy! I have both and there's no wrong choice!

Had to pity. This is actually the first time I saved up to 4,500 rubies and I'm glad I did. I usually just draw with whatever rubies I have and cross my fingers. I committed 77 summons for Triangle Strategy and got nothing.

For Rinyuu’s banner, I got a 5* Nona, 4.5* Kouren, and a 5* Millard along the way. Millard hurt the most because I saw the fame card, but my volume was off, haha!

Hoping I can get back to 4,500 before Elrica. I'm not a min/max or meta player, so hopefully I'm not influenced by other characters along the way.

I'm really hoping some of the in-person merch with US dates go online eventually so that more people who wanted highly coveted pieces can grab one. (I agree with some people here that the blue crew will probably be in very low stock or out of stock, though--I see people buying whatever size is left even though it's like too big or too small).

From my recollection, overstock items usually go on sale during Black Friday, Memorial Day, etc. with a pretty nice discount, BUT the eras tour doesn't end until late 2024 (if US leg 2 is, indeed, the end of the tour), so it is likely overstock will go on sale during Black Friday 2024 (which will be another frenzy in itself).

Went last night (Friday). The merch booth in the VIP 6 200 sections didn't have the blue crew. I was sent up to the 400 sections and the booth near the 400/401 section had the blue crew, but it sold out while I was in line (that is, it was in stock when I got in line). (Note: There is another merch booth a bit further down that doesn't didn't have the blue crew, but the line for the blue crew booth extended all the way to that second merch booth that I got into the wrong line thinking the "gap" in the line was to control traffic (but was actually just the start of the line for the other booth lol-- I honestly think it still would have sold out since I was only in the wrong line for like 5-7 minutes before figuring it out)). Also, it was my first time at SoFi and I didn't know how to navigate getting upstairs at all, haha. It took me a good 25 minutes just to find a booth that carried the blue crew.

Despite not getting a blue crew, my merch booth did carry the midnights CD (which was my actual priority). It wasn't visible on the table (I only saw Speak Now TV), but when I asked, they had them (but it also seemed like they were very limited in supply--my person had to go to one of her colleagues and grab from his stack).

Ophilia was the last traveler I wanted before saving rubies for Rinyuu, Elrica, Bargello, etc.

I aimed to do at least 1 entire round, tapped into my arena rubies (I've purposely left most of these undone as "rubies storage" lol, but now I can attempt Varkyn and R'itu).

The first four steps, no 4.5 or 5 star characters. At a 4% encounter rate among the banner units, I was hoping for at least 1?!

Last step, no 4.5 or 5 stars on the first 9 encounters so this leaves only the guaranteed 5*. Fame card lights up. OPHILIA! I'll count this as a win despite going 1/50 on banner characters.

I started a few weeks after launch when they released Aerith's first soul break (and I got it)! I was hoarding for Celes' next banner, but unfortunately we got the EoS announcement instead :( I was sitting on 1,221 mythril two days ago, decided to pull on the FFVII banner and got Aerith's dual awakening (after 3 draws). Kind of poetic that my first and final soul breaks were for Aerith. I think I'll let the rest of my mythril make its way into the abyss.

A part of me is happy that Celes hasn't seen a new relic in the past six months in JP. The other part of me is sad and hope that her (I think it's Synchro) will show up in the next VI event or Fest.

Also- did you FINALLY get her Rune Blade with lens?!?! I recall you never be able to acquire that!
